Anyway, I have noticed Japanese culture is very misogynistic. Often times, in hentai, women are degraded, raped, blackmailed and insulted during sex.

Well, i wouldn't be so arbitrary as to put it as IT IS vs IT IS NOT. The majority of Hentai probably is misogynistic, as it is oriented for male audiences sexual fantasies.


I wouldn't go too far in analyzing hentai, it is what it is, 90% of the time it is pure unhinged fantasy, and any sane people shouldn't take it too seriously. I would be happy if we had more variety tho, and ofc there should be more hentai for female audiences.

Can some of the things that we consider 'hentai' be misogynistic? Absolutely. Is misogyny an inherent part of 'hentai'? No, of fucking course not.
