If you are romantically attracted to members of the same gender then you are gay, otherwise you're straight. The same way you cannot "cure" homosexuality, by the same metric you cannot catch it either.

Its gay if you're sexually and romantically attracted to men and not to women. That's it. And there's nothing wrong with it.

Anything else, you're somewhere else on the sexuality spectrum. Any sex act between a man and a woman is not gay. Pretending to be a woman in a fantasy, imagination aspect like a video game is not gay.
