Actually, the quality games are more than in the past.

But as Zachy mentioned, even though their total number increased compared to the past..., they are "obfuscated" by the enormous number of bad games released in the same period.

In the last 365 days we had 3601 games of the 7214.

The percentage/rate of good games vs bad games decreased at least 3 times compared to previous years...

In the first 5 10 pages most of them are very good in story/gameplay/graphics.

There are plenty high quality games out there you just have to find them and not just run blindly after highest rated most liked and what not. Just try games that look appealing.

Compared to a few years ago, the amount of Quality Games definitely went up, but it's also that lots of good Games got abandoned or have a ridiculous slow development.

There are way more quality-focused developers now than ever before, and time is needed for quality. Trying to rush a monthly update is bad plus most monthly updates are very small in size and not worth the money and others have small updates just to milk Patreons. Abandonment happens when monetary support is too low to produce the game as there is a cost to time and assists. The devs that work the hardest can rack up 80+ hours a week in development time.

I may speak for myself here, but I find myself enjoying adult games far less than I used to.
I don't believe it has anything to do with lower quality games. I think it's more to do with my taste changing. The bubble which encapsles all the things I enjoy has slowly been shrinking. Bit by bit certain tags, kinks, and tropes have cropped up on my "No thanks" list.

In the past I didn't really care. As long as it wasn't scat or guro or something I'd play it. Yet now, the amount of games I enjoy has been decreasing. Even going back to play games I haven't touched in a couple of years which I know I enjoyed back then, leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth, or questioning why I ever liked that crap to begin with.

For me, it does feel like the quality of games is decreasing, however, I believe that it is more so me wanting to fit everything nicely into my little box of enjoyment, if it doesn't the game is trash to me.

Of course it is a lot, but can you blame them for trying? They probably saw what ICSTOR and some others make and think they can easily make it too.
