Is there room here for a game with the tag NO sexual content?

Hi, I'm making a role-playing game with Renpy and renders with Daz Studio, but I haven't included sexual content for two reasons: because I want to include a lot of licensed music, and because I'm not interested in doing so.

The thing is... do you think if I put it on F95Zone, they will criticize me a lot for not including sex?

The game is set in a cyberpunk future where the player will work for a large insurance company that has privatized security. It features character creation, skills, dice rolls, lots of choices and different paths, etc. Right now I have 3 prologues done, over 400 renders, 28 songs, 90,000 words and 12,000 lines of code.

Anyway, do you think I should give it a try or should I save myself the trouble because a game like this has no place here?

The game has some violence, drugs, and is quite suggestive without being explicit. In that sense, it does fit the description of "for adults." However, I'm concerned about constantly battling comments like "there's no porn."

I would check out some game threads that have the no sexual content tag to get a feel for the terrain.

If a game has the No Sexual Content tag, comments against the lack of sexual content should be reported and will be deleted.

The tag itself is quite literal. No sexual content. Which would imply the having or involving of sex. A game can still be adult without being overtly sexual. It's why Steam allows nudity (sparsely) in non-adult only games.

It's worth a shot posting, the worst the staff can do is say no. Though be ready for a few "why post a game with no sex on F95?" comments. Just stress that there isn't nor will there be sexual content in the game.

Well, I'm talking with the moderator. They mentioned that what you said isn't entirely true and that the game indeed has to be "strongly erotic." I've explained what you taught me, that there are games that don't meet that rule, and besides, I explained that my game already has a sex scene and showed them the renders even if it's not explicit . I assume the rule isn't using adult as in "18 or over" (or whatever age applies to your country) but to the game being what is known as an "adult game", which is pornography in game form.

Here's the exact rule, but because it's so subjective it probably just depends on which uploader checks the request and how they're feeling that day. OP can always open a ticket to try to get another decision on the request.

The games uploaded to the site must be adult in nature, do not upload games simply because they contain sex scenes or nudity (example: The Witcher). Note that the No-Sex tag refers to softcore porn content, not SFW games.
