well, Oral lessons with Chii-chan was also a single heroine game, while still being one of the best nukige on the internet. That's not the issue I think, and franky, pretty much anything by orcsoft is worth a try as they really do some quality work (within the nukige umbrella)
Actually, I looked into it more and figured it out. The game doesn't seem to be out yet. On VNDB the only links are to steam, and there the game isn't released yet. It seems either whoever updated the vndb release screwed up or something else happened.
The big difference is Oral lessons with Chii-chan had the power of ugly bastard wish fulfillment, never underestimate that power
I'm not an ugly bastard (at least not a fat one) so that particular form of wish fulfillment didn't affect me, yet I still thought it was fire. Especially how it deviated from the initial expectations.

I like the game so far but
is kinda lame and takes away any stakes. I prefer isekai where the mc is transported into an already established world and destorys everything. But whatever it's porn turn your brain off i guess

I know right? I used to be a huge Orcsoft fan, loved their art and generally slightly darker themes, but this....looks kinda shit to be honest.
That's one of the things that makes Oral lessons with Chii-chan so genius, the MC is in the "Goldilocks zone of ugly bastards" -- ugly enough to appeal to those who like ugly bastards, but not ugly enough to turn away those who don't.

Was he an ugly bastard before the isekai? If so, it's surprising to see he's lived an extremely successful life and even reproduced. If not, imagine having a chance at reincarnating in literal fantasy land and becoming old, ugly and fat. The elf harem only half makes up for it.

Someone would have to actually check the credits of this one and an old game, but guessing they got a new lead artist (for this game at least). And then all the secondary artists ape their style. That's what usually does it.

Ugh.. Yeah, I think the artist might be Aburi (aka Karaage Market) for this one. All of their stuff seems to have odd chin angles / head shapes and I believe this is their first project with Orc Soft.
Pity, I was excited to see a new Orc Soft game but going to pass on this one. Art is just a little too off-putting for me.
It depends on who does the art and the game itself. Just look at Zero Chastity. Mizuryu Kei drew that and the characters are his, so that game's art is top tier. There is also Wicked Whorehouse and Cult Leader, both have top tier art drawn by Minamoto. Ultimately, it's probably a mix of the budget for the game and the artist chosen. I'm just happy it's not AI slop.
