I think this is the reaction that some developers want. Its a gig. Jackerman is a pure example of this. His releases are more often then not out of schedule, and every single time there is a massive hype that cannot be stopped. There is a marketing plan in here for sure.
One would say that the guy would know by now how much time he needs to make an animation that is often a few minutes long, since he fucked up release dates 90% of the time. So by trial and error tactic, this shouldnt happen that much.
Fans are forgiven for impatience since i understand that they need their daily dose of fresh porn, but some of them just act like underaged obnoxious jerks. I'm sure that some of them actually are too.

Any video besides Mother's Warmth is entirely dependent on what his supporters vote for. He hasn't quite done the whole 'my month will be whatever kind of content is lacking and I want to do yet'. Probably won't kick that in til MW3's out.

Seeing a lot of timezone fuss here, so to make things a bit clear:
1) Jack's in Texas so his timezone is CST, so google that and compare to your time
2) He works on things pretty much until the last second, so don't take midnight to mean release as soon as it hits 12 even in his time. Chances are it'll be an hour or so after.
and lastly we can all stop calling these monthlies, as it was pretty much abolished from the last couple of shorts. He's not aiming for 1-30th/31st anymore. They're done when they're done. I just wish he didn't give dates til it was 100% done, but it is what it is.
So see ya'll tomorrow when the inevitable complaints about the short being short, the cumshot being unsatisfying/it faded to black too quickly, and how its the worst he's done since *insert short you personally liked here*
