have you replaced older images or just created a subfolder inside `www\img\pictures` ?
to get translated ui you should replace older images

Sadly Mtool free nowdays only have Bing translation, which is ultra me. I'll wait for at a better MTL, hopefully someone will post it here in the upcoming weeks.
