I'm a bit disconnected, if I understood correctly there is no way to avoid netorare, can I just not see the scenes that happen netorare?

You are using the "Wrong" version of the game for that Gameplay!
( That Gameplay is for V18 ! [in later updates there were a lot of "Retro-active" patches) Which is causing that error)
For V25 (Chapter 1) please use the updated files below.
Please note it is just Parts 1 & 2, I am yet again rewriting Part 3
( In the middle of Part 4 I noticed I had missed "Jenny's Girls Night hand job"
)Will post a [REV]ised Part 3 in a few days. EDIT: have attach a Revised copy of Part 3 below.
Then its back to reworking Part 4

I notice on day 7 at 12 when mc cleans there is a dialogue change. The game gives the option to jenny of either selecting 'thank you' or 'hug her' but you're play through doesn't provide that option in any of the updates you've posted so far. Your updates are wonderfully helpful to us dummies but I'm wondering what to do here as I'm sure it will impact later scenes. Also the first Sunday when mc pays rent the scene comes up to go the the beach with Jenny with the option to select with or workout Ashleigh. I have to select one or the other as the beach option is a non selection path but isn't in your game play. What do I do here?

Unfortunately despite following this guide precisely there was NO option to tell Jenny I had watered the plants. So what now about the ring quest...

Sorry, I did post a fix earlier but forgot to add it to the Gameplay
I have attach a copy below,
Just extract and drop the "newdays" file into the "Game" Folder.
(Then load a save from before you watered the plants and replay}

The issue you are encountering is common in SNC's games.
Some later updates may contain "Retro-active" elements!
Such as Scenes, Options, Events or even a Bug (a change in the code in JD2 v3 disabled the "Ring Quest")
hence my gameplays always state which version I was using near the top.
I cant find the values for Jenny relation and corrruption , and cant find money in console

Are you playing "Chapter 1" or "Chapter 3" ?
If "Chapter 3" wait until the event when you and Jenny goes to the Doc to get the bandages removed,
(should kick in automatically 4 week after you were shot)
