It's always hilarious to me when people come here, pirate porn games, and then have the audacity to declare other people are only allowed to complain about things they paid for.
People complain about everything, whether they have paid for them or not. The weather, games, the news, sports, climate change, cold, warm.
Complaining has nothing to do with paying for something or not, complaining has to do with whether you have a right to your opinion or not and yes, everybody absolutely has.
Now, before I go into details, let me state at the beginning, that I think people are massively overreacting to Stoper's posts here, he wasn't any less polite or more aggressive than all the people complaining here. He's a human being too, this complaining would piss anybody off. Especially since he already pointed it out and some people were acting pretty stupid about it. If you think he was rude, boy, you have missed out on some of the worse devs here.
I mean, we've had devs doxxing people here.
The development speed for this game was never fast, it will never develop fast. Now it was even slower for several reasons and the update was really short.
It's natural to be disappointed about that, but it's also something to be expected.
I've liked this game quite a lot, but becoming a patron was never an option for me, BECAUSE development is so slow and updates come sporadically and in small sizes. (Also because I'm mostly broke, but that's a whole different story.
)
If like me, you aren't a patron, maybe adopt the stance to take every update you get as a gift and don't expect much content, that will definitely make you feel less disappointed.
Okay, back to the tired old argument that people here being pirates, have no right to criticize or complain about games/content etc..
What about fe. complaining about a game not being released on a certain platform? When I don't have the necessary hardware and can't play the game, I can't be pissed about that? Or do I have to buy the game, even if I can't play it, just to express my opinion?
Or when a novel is delayed for year after year after year and I have paid for quite a few volumes before that, I can't even say I hate that the writer isn't concentrating on finishing this one fucking novel? I mean, I haven't been able to pay for it, since it's not published, so no complaining then?
Or if a show is cancelled that I love , I haven't paid anything for a cancelled show, can't complain then, can I?
And there are literally hundreds of examples like this, I dare you to show me one living person who never complained about anything he or she never paid for, just one.
And what's more, whether you pay or not has got nothing to do with whether you like something or not. A short update is still short, a bad game is still bad, whether I paid for playing it or not. Everybody has the right to his opinion, whether he or she paid for something or not.
To state anything else is ridiculous.
And yes, just like everyone has a right to his/her opinion, everybody else has the right to not give a fuck or think it's stupid or unnecessary, or entitled or ridiculous etc.. you get the drift.
All that is fine, everything apart from claiming people have no right to their opinion, no matter how ridiculous it is.
