Don`t like the Story... It doesnt catch me.. Renders are super, but too much shittalking. Also, the different facets of Jessica do not give a coherent picture. Her basic motivation is somehow all too suspect for me

This game is great, not only the visuals are amazing, the design of Jessica is one of the best or one of my favs at least, but it does something not many does, and its to portrait the "old-young" sex scenes in a incredible sexy and healthy way, and by healthy i mean that usually we see that on games as the typical "old ugly bastard" that the girl dont want to have sex. Here its completly diferent. Animations are really good and story too.

This game is massively overrated. Jessica is so damn stupid and constantly makes bad decisions not related to player choice. One of the most annoying things about this game is that no matter how you're choosing to play, this game will force her boyfriend down your throat. If you're watching someone else have sex it's "I wonder how me and conner look," if you're masturbating it's constant "oh conner yeah!" Like even if you're trying to not be faithful to him the game gives you no choice if you want to have sex with him or not. Also the game tries it's hardest to make another female coworker seem like a bitch, with Jessica's inner monologue saying so and her acting shocked at the way her coworker acts and talks. In reality, the coworker is just up front and honest about things and Jessica is a damn pushover. She thinks that saying no to something is the same as bullying a person. Her reasoning for doing things is also insanely stupid. I so wanted to like this game as I saw and heard so many rave reviews, but with the story as it is there is not enough choices where there should be. There are so many points where there should be a choice (mostly regarding the boyfriend). There was just not enough actual choice in this game and the story is not strong enough to carry it on it's own. Very disappointing.

There are a plethora of games available that feature male protagonists, but the number of games that focus on a female protagonist perspective is comparatively equal but sometimes lack quality. However, there are still some excellent games that have managed to highlight the capabilities and sexual struggles of female characters with great success. of course, in a fictional exaggerated way, as these games shouldn't be expected to depict realistic female characters.

This particular game stands out as one of the best when it comes to providing a captivating and engaging female protagonist perspective. The story is well-written and engaging, allowing players to connect with the main character and experience her journey as if they were a part of it themselves. The graphics are also top-notch, featuring excellent rendering and animation that bring the game's sexual themes to life.
I'm definitely supporting this game in the near future. more VN developers should strive to reach such quality.

The Art is amazing and the Protag is gorgeous its nice to see some *naturally blonde* girls in these games not just waxed dolls also...The Story is the usual porn stuff though but thats ok, enjoyed it, Thumbs up...Watched and hoping for more. 5 stars just for hitting my kink also

Jessica O'Neil's Hard News is an another rare gem in its genre, it seems like an actual story that happening, also having lead female is refreshing.
Story and relationship parts are very realistic , this is an unique advantage , also observing things from pov of a journalist is quite interesting.
I can't wait to see how story unravels later, keep up the great job.

J.O.H.N. is a very good game, however be advised that this is not just a porn game, there are some sex scenes, and pretty hot ones at that, but the game focuses on telling a story in a mature tone and while this involves sex, it is not the main focus of the game.

The models are really good, with Jessica herself being a very attractive woman (nearly a bit too much, super-model like, I would have preferred a more "regular girl" looking model, but that is just personal preference). Thee male models are varied and different, and even the old guys are not your usual "disgusting old man" but just old men.

There are different characters that you can interact with and chose to which degree you get involved with them.

I particularly appreciate the fact that Jessica has a choice, I hate corruption games that are all based on coercion and it is very refreshing to see a game where the MC gets to chose what she wants to do or not. The only thing though is that she is a bit too prude for my tastes in some instances, in particular with Mr.Parker, with whom, after several encounters and obviously being attracted to him, she has yet to have sex fully.

Overall though I enjoyed the pacing of the game, the story is also interesting and well written, with different characters having well written personalities and with the whole world making sense and the situations being credible.

I will definitely keep an eye on this one and will more than likely purchase it once it is completed, hopefully on Steam or similar, it is well deserving of that.

Story is unique and goes with the flow, reminds me a bit on a game „A wife and mother“. Just this game is far more playable and interesting, plot is excellent and give players enough action, not to fast, not to slow. Just the right tempo. A lot of hot and sexy scenes with different characters in game. I can see sequel of the game with Jessica when she becomes a mother. Incest included.... Jessica after 20 years (example). I haven't check tags but there is a lot of space for incest here... Mother, sister... For next closest updates. This is definitely my favorite game with the best story ever. Best triggering decisions included. Game who i always happily wait for an a update. Keep doing great job. Magnificent!

If you expect this game to have a decent amount of content since it was published in 2018 you will be wrong, there is almost nothing there except dead ends and it only getting worst in time.

- The renders in my opinion are ugly ( I never liked this shiny, barbie like renders)
- The characters are blanks
- The story is your ordinary NTR story just with ugly renders (And no NTR of course)


I joined f95zone in 2019 and this one was amongst the first game I've played on here, still can't believe it has almost the exact amount of content.

Way too much blue balling. Total lack of sex other than with husband. That is BORING. Teasing is BORING. Sex with other people or GTFO. Too much boring text. This is like a companion to A Wife and Mother. Another boring, no sex all yakking game, like a chick movie. Total snoozefest. Why anyone would want to play such a boring game is very confusing. Who cares if the renders are great if there's no action?

Just played v0.50 for the first time right through and I really enjoyed it. I really like games where the MC is female and in terms of Jessica, she is smoking hot, smart and ambitious.

There are a lot of hot women in this game, but the MC is the hottest (as it should be in my view). She also has absolutely spot on fashion sense and I found myself genuinely looking forward to seeing what new outfit she'd be wearing the next day.

The backdrop to the story is that Jess is an investigative reporter, newly recruited to a city newspaper, however there is a lot of uncertainty regarding her contract and clear signs that her place there is far from secure.

She finds herself working on a few different projects, but the main theme is her investigations into a city vigilante, who models himself on a budget Batman type. This takes her into the darker and dingier parts of the city as well as schmoozing with the political classes at city and state level.

As she builds her network of sources, she finds that endearing herself to those who can help her is the way to go and finds herself in some sexually charged situations and moral dilemmas.

The storyline, is well thought out and written, as are the characters, who are all relatable, authentic and fit in with the general story. I particularly like the older male characters in the story, with two in particular being prominent in the storyline.

So why not five stars? I really liked this game and I'll play it again when v0.60 is released but for me the dynamic between Jessica - The Mayor and Jessica - Parker could be better thought out. Whilst I want to see Jessica get fondled/groped and harassed by these guys (which she manages to handle well) I don't find it believable that a woman like Jessica would find either man remotely attractive on a purely physical level. For me, for these relationships to be believable, the transactional nature of them needs to be brought out more.

In my approach to the game, I chose to give both men a bit of excitement as a way of gaining their favour and I think a real life Jessica would only do the same if there was a career incentive to do so. I'm not saying she should be a submissive wreck, hell no.,Jess is an assertive woman who knows what she wants. She can want it but let's not pretend that she finds a morbidly obese politician sexy, or a retired and physically withered Newspaper Editor hot, she wouldn't.

Had the devs taken the approach that Jessica was either overtly taking a quid pro quo approach (you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours), or one that was more manipulative and underhanded i.e. faking it to get ahead, I would have enjoyed JOHN even more.

I have been Playing VNs for 10-12 years and this game is highly overrated with the little content it has. Only High quality Renders do not make a game great. The scriptwriting, mechanics, music, scenarios, story, characters, etc must be top notch too. Every Adult game must have enough content in the particular genre its going for it to be judged properly and this doesnt even meet the minimum. In my personal opinion, JOHNs story is basically at act I and i cant give it a rating or even less so my money based on the promise that act II and III will be great when the current content is mediocre at best. There are far more better games both with or without high quality renders that have tons of content to enjoy.

Awesome artwork. The protagonist is more than a dumb blonde beauty and I like that. I know it is hard to create such a game. I hope the creator will not lose his way and motivation like others did ...

Does the game have flaws? Sure, but this is 100% worth your time.

- The graphical quality is absolutely top notch
- Jessica corrupting herself is EXTREMELY hot; and for me the game being hot is the most important factor

I've only played half through the current build on my 1st playthrough but from a mental erotic standpoint this game is way up there. Sure, the graphical smut is just ok' ish, but the setting and the way Jessica is written makes it extremely hot.

Some points for improvement:

- Dev should really give some slides during sexy moments without a text box... it breaks the immersion a bit to press H
- I think it is worth looking at slowing down the pace of the corruption just a bit early on. Some choices or the outcome of those choices seem a bit too slutty/forced taking away from the charm.

Until now I love this game very much , when I read the rating reviews , most of the people agree that : the grapics, images, animasions, art models are very good , So, I love the characters and the storyline.
and for people need more men , I think the ROUTES are optional and you can choose the route you like, and that is the reason I said in the beginning "Until now" because I HATE to be FORCED to do any thing , and if the dev. change that it will be another story.

Jessica O'Neil's Hard News is an excellent game. As long as game doesnt force the character into situations, the game is good. Not sure why there has been a super long pause on updates, but i hope there will be a major content update coming soon.

I'm not one to rate or comment but this game is worth every second of my time I've never seen a game like Jessica has great sex scenes beautiful characters with differences personalities great male characters with variables but I have to say that I really liked it three specific character
