I just finished episode 1 and I must say I'm impressed. Very very good story, relatable characters, interesting plot. I was disappointed when I saw it was over for now.
In the critics row : not much action, especially if you choose the dominant path as I did. I hope that would change in latter episode with some more harcore femdom scene. Slowly turning arrogant males into slave worchiping their queen would be so fun! Specially that prick Jasen.
My last remark is more a wish than a criticism : I liked how the different background seems to get different advantage in the game. but there are few of them and they have little impact apart from whose who you choose the way you did things (criminal or not....)
Adding some would be more work I'm guessing but it would make the story even more interesting and replayable. Also more parameters to do that maybe some choices to make the character more complete : maybe choice like hunting vs more girly thing like sewing, riding horse vs knowing who ask to get gossips on peoples in the court... That sort sort of things. Of course it has to be relevent for the stories.

The plan with the various choices you make in the opening is that they will continue to impact the story in various ways for the entirety of the game. So if a particular choice had little to no bearing on Episode 1, it definitely will in the future!
Well I hope you will add more choice like that, after all some things could be said latter in the story. Also I'm guessing there will be some back story about the 5 years of disappearing and you could choose to add some choices when that part is revealed.
You didn't say anything about the "action" part. Do you plan letting that proportion of story/action or do you plan to up a little that proportion? Action like the submiting of the father count as action in my book.
I don't really have a strong handle on that since I'm still writing lol. Episode 2 is going to have more NSFW scenes than Episode 1, but the ratio of plot stuff to explicitly sexually charged stuff depends on how it all works out. I gotta see where it takes me, ya know

Well it is indeed a very interesting part of the game. It makes the choices have real concequences and in a game who is so heavily stories oriented it's rare.

Status Update #21 - June 8, 2025

This week, in addition to writing, I have been focusing on getting production underway for Episode 2. I had already commisisioned a few pieces for it, but everything is now full steam ahead. The biggest impediment to a timely release is going to be the sprites; there are a lot of new characters joining the cast in Episode 2, and in order for me to make CGs featuring them, they must first exist. I am, however, trying to work something out with the artist that will speed things up a bit!
I've given the production schedule some thought since last week's update, and I have decided that the best thing for me going forward will be to release the episodes in parts. Episode 2, in particular, is going to be released in two parts, with the first coming in an optimistic August or a pessimistic September. These releases are always going to be substantial, never byte-sized, but I have realized that this is the best way to get people more regular content while also maximizing the game's visibility! The first bonus scene, as a reminder, is still coming on the 25th. A big thanks once again to everyone who has played the game!
That is a smart move to keep the engagement imho.

Amazing game. It's been awhile since I found a game so engaging and good. The only thing I can ask more of is more dominant female characters (excluding the MC) because I'm more into playing submissive protagonists for females (femdom with MC subbing). I loved Scars by the way. Just wanted to give my opinion. Strong and great first version. Excited for what's next already.
More of that type of stuff is on the way!
One thing about game mecanics. You can easily max your dom or sub level as you choose. And it's enough to get what route you choose and it is great but I find more interesting to restrict a little some scene (not the general story line) as you did with father the need of some specific choice to get some specific scene. It gives also the game more replayability.
About the story the only thing I disliked was the fact we couldn't gain at least a little symbolic victory over Jasen. I immmadiately took a dislike to the character and I can wait to make him submit. But I understand fully the need to make us wait a better moment, but again I wish we at least get a little symbolic gain even it would not change anything in the core stories.
Also I found the way you have written Duvessa not having other choice than to erase his debt not really convinicing. Not saying it's false, just doesn't feeled like that when I read it.

I think as the story branches out more, there will be more and more unique scenes for people on a specific path. And, as I said earlier, ep 1 will be the last time you ever have to work with Jasen if you don't wish to.

The special value and uniqueness of such games (and this game in particular) is where this is possible.
I hope that it will be possible to play as a strong and dominant Duvessa throughout the entire game! I hope Duvessa achieves all her goals, easily deals with everyone who gets in her way and everything will be fine with her!

Same but I hope it will not be too easy. Some setback would make the story more interesting. Not being humiliated, always gaining some little victories (before getting the big one) and being most of the time ahead of all her ennemies.
