If I had to take a guess, the big thing for Chapter 2 is the tournament and a lot of our choices will determine if things work out the way Duvessa wants them to. I know that originally Chapter 2 was going to be a single release, but later it was determined to be better split into 2 parts for a number of reasons. So similar to the trial, I think we'll be able to see the impact of our choices by the next update which should wrap up the rest of Chapter 2.

That was what I thought as well. Episode 1 was more of an introduction to the setting and characters, so it makes sense it's a bit self-contained. Now that Duvessa has her footing, the entire kingdom has opened up for avenues she can pursue to gain the prestige she once had. I kind of prefer that the choices are becoming open ended, because I would argue that it actually gives it more weight instead of less. If you immedietely know the effect of the option, it's quite easy to roll back and make the "right" pick, which defeats the purpose of a narrative driven RPG like this. Also, if a choice results in a totally different route throughout multiple episodes, It forces the player to deliberate on the risks and rewards associated with it, and reinforces how the choices you make matter and gets you even more invested in the story. And like you said, this is only the first half of the episode; I'm sure that some plot threads like the tournament will be resolved in a satisfying manner in the next update.

And it's no problem. Been meaning to write a review for a bit, but kept putting it off cause I didn't want to half ass it and I am well aware of how wordy I can be when trying to explain my thoughts. I'm not in a position to financially support you at the moment, so reviewing to help give more traction is the least I can do to hopefully be able to see this game reach it's conclusion someday.

Like I said in the last status update, you should get this one if you A) Have a save where you went to the Griffinsbane cave and left with the money still in hand, or want to do a save where Duvessa does that or B) Have the Android version and want a non-fucked UI

Yes it was my guess too. Just my way of saying as a never satisfact player I want more for yesterday.
I get the vibe you are making Duvessa a future "good queen" (commoners get's more freedom/less taxes, less prejudice for racial/religious/sexual minority...) while being/going there with the worst manipulative, murderous (but not in a blind "god will reconise his"way) and teacherous way. I really really like that so 'm curious to see how you will put her in front ofhard choices.

I also hope you gave us more "classical"/"heavier" femdom relationship especially with man. August just beg to be dominated and a lot of others chauvinistic prick deserve to be put in that position one day!

From what I remember Mr. Pengo mentioned to have male orientated femdom content planned later down the line

I've really enjoyed it too! Great plot and very well written story! Though I wish Duvessa would actually get more chances to dominate male characters sexually.

Yyyeeesss this My dream game nice job Mr poengo you cooked . I like how you balanced both sub and Dom. Most of the other games fall one the Dom aspect . And Duvessa is very unique female protagonist I never seen any female protagonist like her .It's really a fresh Air to play as ruthless and Ambitious noble lady.

I personally absolutely hate preg in porn. It is one of my major turnoffs. My sub Duvessa was giving on to Scars who then started about breeding and giving her to men and so on.
Naturally this is the least thing I want to happen in my playthrough.

So without going into spoilers, will I be able to avoid anything like that in the future and just let V submit to Scars?

I think a pregnancy could be an interesting plot for a settings where who is the legitimate heir of this or that is so important. But for Duvessa herself I think she will think of pregnancy only much latter, hopefully at a time where most of her ambitionq is achieved so in an epilogue of the game.

I think they're good for wrapping up plot lines you don't think you can write more for. Give the audience the catharsis they want and move on with what you really want to write.

I'm not really interested in definitive "bad endings" like what was brought up before, like being captured by Griffinsbane and becoming a slave. However, I do think that it's important for you to be able to fail and make blunders in your political maneuvering. For example, if you don't win Veska's loyalty and underestimate her, she could betray you and assist Dedrick in his revenge against you, with her help resulting in his victory against you.

Yeah I 600% intend to incorporate Duvessa's prospective failure and incompetence into the long term story. These bad ends would be for out there scenarios that would derail the entire story. We'll see what people think.

I definitely would also enjoy seeing such things, since personally I am a big fan of pregnancy in games. Though even if it isn't something that ends up getting implemented in potential bad ends, having a character have impregnation talks like

is something I would enjoy seeing continue. It was definitely my favorite scene of this update for those reasons.

I'm not interested in that and would way prefer to have character development, polished dialogue and fleshed out choices for the main story instead.

My thoughts exactly. The core strength of Jezebel is its excellent storytelling, so to spend tons of development time on trying to fulfill everyone's kinks at its expense is a disservice in my opinion.

To clarify, I'd never start a plot thread with the intention of not following thru on it in the main game's story. Bad ends would strictly be in the realm of "what if" or more out there hypotheticals.
