What is with your fixation on a sandbox tag when this isn't even a sandbox game. Do you know what a "sandbox game" is in the first place? Why no sandbox tag?
If I ask is because I don't understand why this game isn't suppose to be a sandbox but others in this forum are. Why Milf City is a sandbox game and this isn't?What is with your fixation on a sandbox tag when this isn't even a sandbox game. Do you know what a "sandbox game" is in the first place?
i already explained it pretty clearly the only question would be is if i was mistaken on the definition of a sandbox game and since nobody has tried to correct me means i was either right or i was at least close enough for this situation. bringing up other games is pointless as the easiest answers would be either the games in question arent like jikaga rising or their simply mistagged. If I ask is because I don't understand why this game isn't suppose to be a sandbox but others in this forum are. At that point is when asked for a game tagged sandobx in this forum that fit your definition because I don't discuss if your definition is right, my point is that it is not the one used in this forum. If I put 15 games tagged sandbox that doesn't fit your definition, would all of them be mistagged or would your definition be wrong for this forum?i already explained it pretty clearly the only question would be is if i was mistaken on the definition of a sandbox game and since nobody has tried to correct me means i was either right or i was at least close enough for this situation. bringing up other games is pointless as the easiest answers would be either the games in question arent like jikaga rising or their simply mistagged.
its not 'my' definition its 'the' definition, just google sandbox game and you can clearly see they are described as, and i quote, ' A sandbox game is a video game with a gameplay element that gives the player a great degree of creativity to complete tasks towards a goal within the game, if such a goal exists.'At that point is when asked for a game tagged sandobx in this forum that fit your definition because I don't discuss if your definition is right, my point is that it is not the one used in this forum. Literally it does change it. In the end, the words mean what those who speak them want them to mean. You can check out any word in Urban Dictionary for this matter.the reason i say bringing up other games is irrelevant is because no matter how many games have the tag doesnt change the definition of what a sandbox game is
Mistagged too, I suppose. If Four Elements Trainer doesn't have the sandbox tag then I don't see why this one would.
Although my sample size is limited but it's a similar sort of interactive map type shit going on.

There's no sharing scenes in the game, and even if some are added, you won't be forced to take it.will this game have other guys having sex with the girls (sharing)?
for example being forced to hinata
let marry and get pregnant from naruto to keep the timeline.
I hope not but it seems that he will follow this path because in the beginning he says that she is the future wife of the hokage and that her influence would be important.
which is strange because I thought it was a harem game : /
yes, I just started playing so I don't know if sharing scenes already exist.

"You're trying to say that because 2 different words in 2 different languages sound vaguely similar..."
I didn't say that AT ALL. I said:
In Spain, we translate car to coche.
In most of Latin America, they translate car to carro.
In Spain, we translate carriage to carro.
In Spanish different people gives different meanings to the word carro.
The same thing happens with the French language or the Japanese and there are a lot of words like this in English. What does the word pants mean?
why would it need a sandbox tag?its not a sandbox game : /
Pretty weird argument to see, but:You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Why did you tag Nano-control as sandbox but not Jikage rising? Thank you for joining the debate. There's no sharing scenes in the game, and even if some are added, you won't be forced to take it.
The "influence will be useful" part mostly refers to her lineage, being one of the Hyuga.
Pretty weird argument to see, but:
Hakhak Typically a sandbox game gives some freedom in terms of movement and story, in this case the story is pretty much linear with some degree of freedom in terms of the bonus girls. Just being able to decide between who to max out first doesn't really warrant it as a sandbox game. Like for FFX, you can pretty much just max out Aaron and not train Rikku, but that hardly makes it a sandbox game.
The games you mentioned has also allowed some degree of freedom in terms of movement, like you can go to point A, then point B then C that gives the illusion of movement, which some classify as a sandbox game, while for Jikage Rising it's mostly just click and reach the area.
And probably the most important thing would be, sometimes people don't know what they are talking about. Like for example, some people would call Skyrim a "sandbox game", but it would be more accurate to call it an "open world game". And the term has been evolving, which might explain the difference in opinion here, like if you ask people is Saint Row/ Fallout 3/ GTA/ Just Cause an open world game or a sandbox game, chances are you'll get different answers. So it's possible that the games, Jikage Rising included, might have been mis-tagged, which in that case, due to the maximum number of tags allowed to the games, I would choose not to tag the game as a "Sandbox game" as I feel that other tags are more accurate in depicting the game.
So yeah, hope that helps clear up why the game wasn't tagged as a "sandbox game".
Definitely not because if I, as a dev, went on another forum and said that my game is a sandbox game I would probably get mocked into oblivion lol.

thanks for the answer, keep up the good work
Oh, Nano-control allows you to walk around the map with no purpose, you are able to harvest items from the map, do side quest and pretty much just explore the multiple different maps at your leisure. The player has more control overt their actions where they can enter the forest and walk around without doing anything as opposed to Jikage Rising where you are given a set number of choices. Why did you tag Nano-control as sandbox but not Jikage rising? Thank you for joining the debate.
Jikage rising being a cheaper game doesn't change the fact that both game have the very same mechanic to go on with the programmed events.Oh, Nano-control allows you to walk around the map with no purpose
So you are in Jikage through missions.you are able to harvest items from the map
Since when side quests are a sandbox trait? And wouldn't the outfits thing of Jikage rising count as a side quest?do side quest
Moving around the map with no purpose doesn't help you to get to your goal in a creative way what is suppose to offer a sandbox game.and pretty much just explore the multiple different maps at your leisure. The player has more control overt their actions where they can enter the forest and walk around without doing anything.
The only difference between Jikage rising and Nano-control is that you can move around the map as it was a Pokémon game. None of the games I listed that are tagged sandbox offers this.Though to be honest, I don't really see any merit in this discussion. So this will probably be my last reply regarding this issue.
