Why do some of these Japanese nsfw games have these insanely funny titles? Is it shitty translation? Is it a meme? Is it a sub cultural thing?
Pornography tends to have honest titles. Especially works that don't pretend to have artistic value. Something like "Hot latino Liza gets fucked in anatomically impossible ways" is a common way videos are labeled on porn websites.
In Japan, this is multiplied by a popular website's web novels having synopsis instead of title (because the website doesn't provide place for synopsis). Now even many works that were never from there have synopsis-length title. This season, I'm planning to watch anime called "Dekisokonai to Yobareta Moto Eiyuu wa, Jikka kara Tsuihou Sareta no de Suki Katte ni Ikiru Koto ni Shita". To think that back when I started, I thought "Utawarerumono" is a hard title to remember.
The worst part is, they have synopsis-length titles, and they still fail to describe what the work is actually about. The manga I'm reading is called "Unparalleled Little Girl ～A Summoner Betrayed by Friends、Become a Demon Little Girl、And Live a Doting Slow Life with【Summoning of the Spirits】～". It's on chapter 7 now, and they're already starting a civil war instead of a doting slow life.
Finally yes, the title translation is not using proper English.
The "uncle" in question is nobody's uncle, he is just of the right age to be somebody's uncle. I think in English it can only be done with "grandmother" and "grandfather", but in Japanese, it can be done with pretty much any word for relationship.
"JK" is not a valid English word (it stands for "joushikousei" and means "female high school student").
And the word order clearly needs to be changed and improved with connecting words to work.
