I am new to the VR thing. I am considering buying this thing right away as it's pretty cheap, but wanted to get some guidance. Steam page that hand tracking (I have the Quest) is supported exclusively in the OpenXR version via Meta Quest Link. Does it mean that I have to use specifically Quest Link? Or it can be done smh via Virtual Desktop for example

You need to start the game with the Meta Quest Link Runtime active for hand tracking to work. In Virtual Desktop, they create a simulated controller with hand tracking, which isn’t real hand tracking.
