Well, I translated the whole script and UI, but I'm now going though editing the script, so it will probably take some time until I finish with that. How long? I don't know. I want it to have the quality to be at least at the level of Josou Sennen Oukoku, which I translated earlier. Stuff like that takes time unfortunately.

oh wow, I was looking at the account creation date, not the post date. Thought I was bumping a post from 2019, lol. Also you did the Sennen tl? Nice!

I have some unfortunate news regarding the translation. My computer died unexpectedly, and unfortunately I'm currently short on funds to replace it immediately. I'll need some time to save up enough money for either a new computer or at least a used one, which means the translation will be on hold for a while.

On the bright side, I had the foresight to save the English script (which is fully translated and partially edited) to the cloud, so at least that work isn't lost. Once I get back up and running, I should be able to pick up where I left off without starting from scratch.

I apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience during this time.

As a small consolation, I wanted to share two other games here I translated a while back that might interest some of you. They're both trap-themed games that I completed some time ago, but they're still not available on f95zone yet - it seems they're stuck in the review/approval process.
They both need Japanese locale to play.

Are you in the US? If so, I'd check out Good Will. $20-50 will get you up and running. While I realize they're budget, $20-$50 will have windows 10 running with a ssd & 8gb. Have 3 of them sitting around as servers/backups as my desktop is getting old. Perfect for throwing VS Code / your favorite code editor on there.

Hmm, quite an interesting thing, but I'm not in the US. I'm from Poland, and from what I can tell, we don't really have anything like Goodwill here. We do have online platforms like OLX and Allegro, but the problem is that the cheaper ones are usually sold broken/unusable/for repair or missing parts. If they're actually working properly, they tend to be much more expensive. There's also the risk of it breaking after a week or so. I'm a bit wary of that.

I was thinking maybe a mini PC instead... you know, those small N100 boxes.
Oh well, thanks for the advice, anyway.

Here in the states, rule of thumb for a used pc. Windows 10, 8gb+ ram + SSD = good enough for coding. If it was a pc sold with a SSD then it's easily a pc that is ok for coding. Then again I'm not sure if you're outsourcing the models for the AI image or doing it on your own hardware.

Would it be beneficial to post the script here for others to edit while you await a new PC?

Alright, I somehow was able to get a working PC. I fully edited the script, so I should be able to put the game soon. I put the unedited script briefly here earlier, but it seems that no one was really interested in helping. Well, I guess that was expected. Anyway, I will be uploading the game somewhat this week probably.

nice, think you can do the other one too?
Hmm. I think in this thread was already MTLed by someone else some time earlier. Here are the links.
MTL text patch: Link
And Ui patch (the UI one was actually made by me in my spare time): Link

The one I translated was the other one.
specifically. Here is the link: Link

I hope it's clear.

This means Yome Juu ( ) is the only one left from this company untranslated.
