While I don't have a preference to male/female/non-binary MCs, not everyone who plays these games self-insert into the MC. I don't do it in mainstream games. I don't do it when I read books. I don't do it when I watch movies or television shows. And I don't self-insert in adult games. I enjoy entertainment through the experiences presented, not that I imagine it being done to me.

I don't self-insert, so I don't have a problem with my MC being corrupted and screwed. I prefer female-MC, because I play these games to see female characters being corrupted and screwed, so not doing it through a male MC removes the intermediary.

I can enjoy games where male or female MC is intentionally working to corrupt a female character if I, as the player, get a good amount of control over the corruption. But my focus is still firmly on the corruptee, not the corruptor.

Most hetero stuff is directed towards males, and I guess they don't want to see any other men around, so you end up with floating penises and invisible guys (outlined only) in H-Games. And they also save time by not designing the other partner in the sex act.

I didn't mind to see straight sex at first if they showed enough of the guy, and that happened a lot on old porn, but nowadays, is just the girl with a closeup and two dicks in her. That's it. I don't know where I've read, that this makes some male actors on straight porn feel much like extras, while they are not paid even the half as the female partner.

If you want to see the other partner, the only way, I'm afraid, is to look for lesbian/futa games, or hetero games directed to women (and they are rare). Maybe a bisexual game can do it too, but these are like unicorns. Not many want to do a Bi game, too much shit you have to deal, and if you're not bi is not worth it.

EDIT: Scratch that. Bisexual games WITH female MC are abundant, what I meant was Bi games with male MC. In the case of female MC, they are plenty. But, they have the same defect that most hetero games, since they are directed towards a male straight audience.

When watching movies/shows or reading books/manga or playing regular games with female pov characters do you find it difficult to enjoy it? I don't believe that poses a major difficulty for most people given how popular these shows are with both genders regardless or the gender of the pov character.
In cinematic rpgs like mass effect or cp77 people mostly discuss voice actor quality when they consider which gender to play as, being able to self insert as a penis/vagina wielder is low priority there.
Harry Potter and Lotr are really popular with females despite mostly male povs.

When you discuss fem mc you should consider the natural extension of being able to enjoy other media with both gender povs to being able to enjoy porn games like that as well. They're still human narratives, they're events happening to someone else and you can let that scenario play in your mind and find value in it somehow.

Theres specifics for this context that are relevant, like types of fem mc games that are aimed men and their associated tropes that make them work, while theres lots of gay furry games for some reason or games aimed at women that really don't appeal to straight men. You don't get to those points before you explain away this overwhelming ability of humans to enjoy both genders stories by default.

I only care about porn in gay games. The rest of stuff I download from here falls under the "pirated games I only play because they are free and the art and/or story look midly interesting" category.

And I can't really do that with a woman
