Is it normal that you lose your levels and captives upon restarting the game?

Biggest downside is you get endlessly attacked. I get it it's the point, but you can't even dom because you're getting attacked so much.

You only get attacked if you are out-leveled.
You gain levels by making someone pass out. I think you also get EXP for applying restrains.

So carrying a girl into the portal and talking to the hub area girl freezes the game
That was to break the game
Game is kinda too fast to press Z in such quick succession if you fight an enemy with +7 levels since Z is half a keyboard away. So you have to ignore Z. But if there 2 Zs in one fight you lose.
There really needs to be a setting to change or disable Z
