I'm currently a patreon and it seems like they will continue to update it. They replied to a comment on patreon saying 1.7 will be coming out in about 2 weeks.
But I wouldn't hold out too much hope though.

that's a little grindy but yes it's completable, u need to get Chichi at her max excitation and naughty lv3, remember to buy a spare battery and blue capsule before taking picture. Or else u can split the shooting into many times

Yeah, there have been updates 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 etc over the past month or so, so things are moving along
