No idea why NT implemented a limited money system honestly, but yeah you're limited to 10K zeni (9999 ackshully but yeah).
Fwiw money isn't hard to make once you get Chi-Chi. Just talk to Mai disguised as Shu while playing Oolong and you get a big wallet which extends your max funds to 9999. Then play as Chi-Chi during the evening in the desert, and go digging. You'll fill up in no time.
Also off topic, that image above reminds me I colored this image last month. I offered help to NT to do placeholder colors until he can get to it but I guess he wants to do them himself, so I'll just post it before I delete it off my hard drive.

i did some of those too (and i remember there's another dude did it), NT told me that he want to edit the sketch into a completed illustration (anatomy fixed and clean lineart he said) so he just take it as a fan art

all of them included in 1.9 already, that just Desperated housewife and Old friend quest remastered (to make it a smoother storyline and add several new illustration)

Yup 1.9 didn't really add that much but the Desperate Housewife quest was significantly improved from 1.8 imo.

Huh, that's odd, surprised to see that there being a 1.9 update on the actual page but no updates on F95? Is something up?

that's usually happen here, devs didnt active on f95 anymore and the mod rarely visit the thread, so in order to keep in touch with latest content NT always recommend following his facebook (where the public build will be updated first)
