A game so good, you will feel bad when the ecchi stuff starts happening, wishing it ends soon so you can get back to playing. This game has it all; solid RPG mechanics, top tier artwork, multiple routes, NG+stuff, crazy replay value...
Eushully games are simply on another level. This is one of my favorite games of all time, and I played a LOT over the course of my 30+ years. Even if you skip all the H scenes, you will love this game, that's how good it is.

I didn't finish it, but I played 6 hours (reaching Chapter 3).

• Story, characters, and art are solid. Not top-tier, but good enough that I looked forward to continuing it, and could get attached to some of the characters.
• Zero real erotic content in the first 6 hours. I think it's leaning on buildup and developing the characters/relationships. Other people mention that erotic scenes are backloaded into later chapters, where they happen back to back.
• Gameplay is turn-based tactics (think Fire Emblem), with a side of Japanese-game-alchemy (crafting) and shopkeeping (think Recettear/Potionomics).
• No permadeath
• Battle UX/controls feel poor, between not being able to zoom in/out, not enough hotkeys for common actions, etc. There's a "combat forecast", where it shows unit health/attack/etc. before you attack, but it's not always accurate. Sometimes it'll say I'll do 16 damage, and then all my attacks hit for 1, or sometimes the enemy just hits me for 999, and I can't figure out why.
• The music is bad to the point of being actively annoying. The tracks themselves are actually alright, I don't love them but don't actively dislike them either. The issue is that there's separate music for when you're in the main tactics screen, and when you're in a battle animation, and they don't crossfade between them, they just switch tracks and play from the beginning. So if you're attacking with multiple units repeatedly, which was often the case, I would end up just hearing the first 3 seconds of each track over and over again. It's especially bad if you have the fast combat/walk animations turned on. Just the same ~5 seconds of sound over and over and over. They really should have made the two tracks run simultaneously, and faded between them.
• Installing the game is harder than most Dark Souls bosses
• The difficulty curve is rough, or maybe just based around grinding. Things felt too hard at times and the issue is presumably that I was was underleveled, since they have a recommended level for each map/mission and I was consistently below it. I did do every single side quest, but I barely grinded. The final mission of chapter 2 was tough (not in a fun way) and I only really beat it because I got good RNG.
• Save very frequently because there is no autosaving or checkpoints. If you die in battle (and game overs can sometimes blindside you), it sends you back to the main menu.

I really like the overall setting, the idea of the gameplay mechanics, and the characters, particularly Yuela. I really like tactics games so I thought I'd like this, and while the gameplay was interesting at first, it began to wear on me heavily and ended up becoming a chore. I might be able to push through if there were something else to hook me, but there wasn't. The story didn't hook me, nor did the music. I liked the character scenes, but they're a bit sparse to make dealing with the gameplay worth it. I encountered zero erotic scenes so that's basically just irrelevant as a potential hook - I don't even know if I'll like the way they're written once they *do* show up, since I haven't seen even a sample of a scene. The beginning of the game is relying on the gameplay and it just doesn't work for me.

It feels bad because it's not like I'd call this a pure 3-star game, it's a game that has 5-star elements and 1-star elements. I want to meet and see all the character stories and scenes, but I really don't want to sit through the gameplay, especially since this game is apparently very long (dozens or even hundreds of hours). If you have lots of patience and don't mind this game's issues as much as I do, maybe you'll enjoy this more than me.

Also it should be said that this game was made over a decade away. I'm very curious now to check out this studio's newer games and see if they might appeal to me more.

Games. Not hentai games, just games. Thing is, I think I played this game obsessively for a whole week nonstop before I got to any lewd content at all, so if you're looking for a quick fap you won't find it here.

But my god, this game is so good!

Kamidori is an excellent game. Think dungeon crawling meets Fire Emblem with some collect-a-thon. The game has 3 branching paths to choose from, each focusing on a specific love interest. You can pick an other one only in New Game +.
Problem is, the porn gets in the way of the actual fun stuff. Not that the erotic scenes are bad or anything, but in the last half of the game they'll happen back-to-back so often that you'll wish you could go back to the actual game instead.
The game does have some half baked features, like mutations, and ridiculous delivery quests, but you get around those with an healthy dose of saving as often as you can.
Play this for the gameplay, not for a quick fapping session. It's not worth it for the latter.

IMPORTANT: if you wish to 100% the game, you should go with Serawi's path first and then go with Yuela's last.

Honestly, this is an actual game, not just a quick fap. I saw some of the negative reviews mentioning that they played 10 hours or that there's 'too much grind', but that's just because this is the kind of game you can play 50+ hours... It's got a NG+ mechanic that opens up new scenes, characters and levels. Honestly, you're meant to go through all three of the main characters and it's a great experience if you see it as an actual game to play and not just something to open up for a quick fap.

9/10 game I really recommend it if you like playing strategy and a game for long time.
the story is basic but in a good way, its nothing new or mind blowing but still something that easy to read and understand.
difficulty isn't that hard once you know what op except for some certain rare case where you are forced to use a character you never use

This is the longest hentai I've ever played. According to the save file, it took me more than 100 hours to finish the game, and I think this number alone, tells how good this game is.

I really like the gameplay here. This is not a clicker or a typical easy hentai game. The basics are simple, but I think it can be compared to the Pokemon games. By that I mean, you convince more characters to join your party, each character has some skills, strengths, and weaknesses, and of course, some sexy hentai scenes, after all this is a hentai game.

You collect materials, expand your base, create and update your equipment, complete the quests, and of course bang almost everything with an orphan.

After finishing the game, I read that there are 3 main routes of the main quest line. I was surprised about it, because as I said, it's an extremely long game, and yet it highly encourages you to replay it with the New Game+ mode. I consider it, especially because I'm interested in romance with the other 2 main heroines.

Regarding the romances, the hentai scenes are pretty decent but definitely not perfect. Usually, their plot is retarded, but there is some plot so it's not bad.

Overall I give it a very high score. It's great it was able to keep me for a very long time I happily spent with it. Very recommended, unless you are not interested in long games.

I spent hundred of hours playing this game. Collecting everything, maxing every character and even finishing the game multiple times.

If you like SPRGs then this one is a must while if you are here for the story, don't expect much as this game is more on gameplay then story.

This game is quite the contradiction.
On the one hand I liked it a lot. Despite its many flaws, such as censorship and cliche chracters.
I liked the story and the interaction with the harem despite its cliches. They become tropes for a good reason, people enjoy them.

Yet on the other hand 10 years after I started playing it, it still sits in my "completed games I need to finish playing" folder.
And I have come to terms with the fact that I will never actually finish it.
Because it is an utter time slog.

I am one of those weirdos that actually enjoyed the combat system.
To the point where I think it should have been the combat system of a normal non porn RPG.
For me the problem was too much of a good thing.

Even if you enjoy the combat system, the game is grindy to the extreme, well beyond any plausible reason.
It isn't just combat, but also the reasons why you do it. Exploring the same location 500 times to craft a new dress for one of your haremettes so you can unlock a new scene with her is just not a reasonable use of your time.
I have spent literal weeks of my life playing it and still did not finish it.
At some point I just... got tired of it and stopped.

I enjoyed this game a lot. combat is ok. I just thought it had a good balance between combat and management. wish I knew how to control which path i was on though. I have introduced this game to others and they have enjoyed it aswell. some are still playing it 10 years later

this game is amazing i'm surprised there aren't more ratings. the gameplay is 10/10. the girls are good. story is good. tons of content. i need to get back to my NG+ one of these days. translation is good.

Honestly if they put it on steam I would 100% buy it.
Altho it's kinda grindy and by kinda I mean a lot, still it's one of the best games I played, definitely wasted more that few hundreds of hours on this game and loved most of it.

Highly recommend! Most people come for the hentai stay for the fun tactical rgp. Make sure you can set aside a good chunk of time to play this gem! You won't regret it, there are some great quotes in there too that are great life lessons.

Man i started this game only for the cute characters i wanted to rail, but then i stayed solely for the amazing gameplay and progression that this game has to offer. Genuinely fuck the sexual stuff, i would have played this game even if it was non-sexual.
I highly recommend trying this game out purely for its gameplay mechanics.

This is one of those games I had to play a second and third time through the years, because the gameplay was really good. So good that the Eroge content became secondary, comparable to a lewd modded Skyrim where you still do all the quests. A nice cherry on top.

Do yourself a favor and play this amazing game. It might not have the best jack-off material (non animated) but the game loop itself just hooks you. Its a great combination of a more classical JRPG with a crafting system and decent enough story. Also this game is packed with content, you'll need 50+ hours to see it all.

Really nice game, with some nice mechanics and gameplay, the hentai part is not all I would like, but not bad. In the end is a very nice game with some sex along with the rest, I would Really recommend a play, and if you'd like to hunt for all it's content give it a go.

On a technical level, this is a large, ambitious project that has come together generally as planned. However, the actual experience of playing it is so awful I can't give it anything other than the lowest possible score.

The core gameplay, simply put, does not work. It's a combination of TRPG and exploration that drags both sides down as you regularly have to spend dozens of rounds doing nothing but moving all your units around to explore. This is exacerbated by level design that punishes you for splitting up your units to explore more quickly or even if you just get bored and don't maintain an optimal formation while crawling from point a to point b. Then you have a big layer of JRPG grind on top of it to really round out the tedium sundae. And since every new idea the game brings to the table is a failure, fixing all of the issues would still leave you with utterly mediocre gameplay.

Then there's the writing and characters. Somehow they take the low, low bar of anime porn tropes and still fail to meet it. It's not just that every character and piece of plot is a cliché, it's that they're executed horribly on top of it. One example that sticks out to me is a long chain of scenes of one of the girls slowly realizing that she's allowed to like cats, delivered with all the finesse of an elementary school play. There's over 50 hours of this. It's maddening.

Then there's the art and porn itself. It's not bad, per se. But it is noticeably off in about every way you can imagine. Anatomy, perspective, shading, texture, composition- nothing looks quite right. And there's a strange lack of character to it as well. Despite all the scuff, everything still feels unnaturally clean and soulless. So when you get into the porn scenes proper, the awful writing and general "off"-ness of the art sucks any trace of eroticism out of them.

I know a lot of people love this game and that's why I kept trucking with it for such a long time. I guess I just wrote this so people can know that if they don't like it, it's not going to get better. They can put it down instead of sinking dozens of hours into it for no payoff like I did.

Takes a little getting used to, but well-polished with great gameplay mechanics. Honestly, if this game didn't have the H-elements, it'd still be a captivating game with multiple good plots.
Solid leveling mechanic that doesn't feel grindy.
Solid 9/10 all around.
