I've just finished my first playthrough and I'm now trying to do all the extra stories before starting my second one. I saw in the appendix tab that there's three expansions (Special Alchemy, Hannah's Pilgrimage, and Append 2.0)

I've already done angel's melancholy and hot spring tales (I'm assuming these are the append 2.0?) but I can't find special alchemy and Hannah's pilgrimage, are they naturally found in the NG+ proper or have I just somehow messed up my installation?

I don't remember what Special Academy entails. But I'd say you're good to start your 2nd playthrough, you probably did all the content unlock through extra stories already. There should be Lily, Leguna and Stone Golem... that's probably it. Then you can unlock some extra char or three for 3rd playthrough, during your 2nd.

Hannah's Pilgrimage is definitely stuff that goes on during 2nd+ playthroughs. You do some quests and clear a map or two with her.

I find it funny how the best and easiest way to earn money 2nd run onwards is to rip off Hannah and sell her products at a premium literally just across the street lol

no there's no cheat table for cheat engine as far as I'm aware but you can use SpoilerAL to cheat. View attachment 2876172

If you are wondering why the game runs like shit with screen tearing and smaller window even with fullscreen on then do this:

• Launch the game once.
• As soon as the window appears (it will be in windowed mode initially), press Ctrl + Alt + Del and open Task Manager.
• End the game’s process.
• Relaunch the game—you should now see a configuration dialog before the main menu.
• Click Yes
• Change the resolution to "Virtual"

That fixed the horrible horizontal tearing for me.

I found this game again somewhere on an old drive after more than 10 years since I completed Yuela's route (and the game overall) for the first time and had a little trouble making it look nice. Fixing those values in config file made it look just like I remember. I installed the partial uncensor patch and it works great so far.


No, it does not fix the JP locale requirement. When you run the game (age.exe) without the JP locale emulation, the game creates a new save/config folder in the %appdata%\local\Eushully with gibberish ascii characters instead of proper JP ones ("_ŤĚ‚čA‹P~[}CX^[" instead of "神採りアルケミーマイスター"). If you had any saves, the game doesn't see them and crashes in the menu after few seconds.

This looks like you don't use any adblock extensions. Popups, ad banners and redirects are things I've eliminated form my web browsing experience years ago (increasing my online security as well). The link works fine for me and after 3 seconds I get save to disk popup. But JDownloader is a good piece of software, so no harm done - I use it as well, mainly for YouTube.

May I suggest uploading on other sites like MediaFire, MEGA, etc? You may be right about it's in my end. I cannot open it on Google Chrome, saying site cannot be reached. It can be accessed on Incognito, but that Invalid ID shows up...

Having a bout of nostalgia for this game, so I tried downloading it once more (sadly on a different site), I don't know if I'm going crazy or not, but I distinctly remember that we can see all the harvest/excavation spots on the map on reruns of said map, but for some reason I don't see them on the map anymore (I only see the ? thing when a unit is nearby or can walk towards it which shouldn't be the case before, the animated icon of it being harvested/excavated shows up normally though, but not the unharvested/unexcavated icon), I'm on windows 11, so that might be doing something. But I'll try downloading the versions uploaded in this site to see if it and do the whole installation process thing instead of extracting a the game from a download.

Has anyone experience something similar? If you did, what did you guys do to fix it?

Edit: I just tried doing the whole install process, harvest location in the map is still missing, shouldn't I be able to see the harvest point I marked even if there are no near units

IF I recall correctly, that's an option for NG+ only - if you are returning from a long time ago and had an old completed save you can just start a NG+ with inherit nothing and turn those options on.

Especially with the bajillion hours of dialogue I don't give a shit about in the intro.

I played their future game (the one in the big turtle moving fortress thing). There's also Utawarerumono but I'm not a huge fan of that games combat system. It's alright just a little dull imo. Difficult at least.

I'd like to try one of their other games but afaik they're all untranslated which is a shame.

Most Eushully games have different combat systems anyways, so that's not really an angle.
Amayui Castle and Labyrinth (sequel) meister are the best bet.
Other than that there's not really much that comes even remotely close to this.
