I wanted to like it, but the amount of mystery dangling is just turning me off for some reason. I don't care about the characters. yeah yeah they're poor and all that, and? also why is this only happening in their very very special town and nowhere else?

should I ask for spoilers or is the wait worth it?

I couldn't find this game on that site, doesn't help much that I can't really make heads or tails of it, even with the find command. Do you have any alternatives for finding out about completing this, or gaining a save that doesn't include waiting for someone to generously share their save file?

Use a translator to navigate. Once on preferred page, disable translator, look for the game using the JAPANESE name (can get from top level post or vndb), then hope they have save files stored somewhere.
