You do realize you made a generalized statement about mods and were not specific, in other words clarify.
I am sorry I didn't specifically write I was talking about "Karryn's Prison" in a thread that is named "Karryn's Prison" :KEK:
Also, if you follow this reply chain back you can clearly see I am talking about this game and not a random one or games in general.

Once again a generalized statement that could apply to any game your own post is proof of that. Don't know why you're taking personally but whatever.

...modding is not identical in every game but there are some general similarities...
We're talking about KP, this isn't Skyrim.
Just like the other guy making "general statements", it doesn't really apply to this game.

Hence, why it's much better just manually installing in a single click unless if you're a specific case of an obsessed person that needs to update the game/mod after every minor patch.

My brother in christ, why would I be talking about modding other games when I specifically replied to a post that talks about this game? Not only that, but I am doing it in a thread titled "Karryn's Prison". Also, if you have atleast one working, healthy eye you can easily see I am saying "the game". Notice how I never wrote "a game" or "games in general" in the post you've replied to.

Actually I only have one eye and the one I do have was severely damaged in a car accident and words tend to blur together sometimes. So I apologize bye now.

I dont really understand why are you bringing skyrim up when I never mentioned any other game than karryn's prison in my post nor anything not related to that
But ok if that works for you
Just like the other guy making "general statements", it doesn't really apply to this game.
I am talking about modding games and mod managers here
Does karryn's prison have mods? Yes
Can you use a mod manager with karryn's prison? Also yes
Did I talk about mods of other games or other games? No
Or you wanna tell me that applying mods on karryn's prison with a mod manager is not "Modding a game" or modding karryn's prison?:ROFLMAO:
Hence, why it's much better just manually installing in a single click
It's much better when you know how to apply the mods and where to apply them safely
I wouldnt recommend that to a newbie who is approaching modding for the first time
And installing a mod manager is not something only an absolute computer wizard can do
Just install a mod manager, watch or read a guide on how to set it up and the hard part is done
After that the manager pretty much does everything for you(and applies mods in a single click mind you) and tells you what overwrites what and what could cause conflicts
And again a mod manager shows you a load order where you can see what mods you installed and even gives you a general idea what is overwriting what because mods at the bottom of said order overwrites what is upwards(in MO2 case it explicitly tells you if a mod is overwriting something)
The biggest advantage of a mod manager is that it removes what mod you want(with a simple click again!:KEK:) without having to go manually to the game directory remove the mod from there
Wont solve conflicts but makes it 10x easier to recognize them
You average modding noob risks removing important game files if he doesnt know what he has to remove
Hell even in the guide posted on rem's discord mod managers are recommended and I doubt they would recommend those if they werent relatively easy to use(I think modders are aware that the average karryn's prison coomer isnt exactly a bright mind regarding these things:KEK:)
unless if you're a specific case of an obsessed person that needs to update the game/mod after every minor patch.
?
How is this relevant to the topic or anything I said?
If you want you can install a mod through a mod manager and let it sit for 10 or more years without updates
The mod manager wont point a gun at your head or threaten to slay your kin just because you arent updating your mods:ROFLMAO:

Is there still no option to change Karryn's face back to the classic version? Maybe for a cosmetic option?

Yes, by downloading a version that's older, and if you need mods, you'll need to find versions of those that are also compatible to that older game version.

Tried to install CCMod on last 1.2.9.64 version and it gives "Header error". Does it not work on latest version?
Or is this not the last version for which mods are made for?

The mod does work on the latest version, but you don't have the latest version.
For some mod versions that definitely work on game version 1.2.9.64, check this thread (specifically this post)

I absolutely enjoy new descendant runs. It's not that great, nothing to write home about. primary all my enjoyments come from the new found freedom, released from being stuck with challenge runs, which I now realize how terrible it has been as a whole.

You can only play challenge runs in one single way and there no worthy to notice variations between, by locking you with 1 single title for the whole play, narrowing down the lane on how you play the run with no exceptions.

Worse than that, you cant inherit passive from previous runs, practically makes a karryn the fresh new character from a fresh new save. starting a new, which is, by far the most boring part of the game, by a huge magnitude, and you guess it, all fresh new games start and play the same boring way.

it offers no new mechanics nor contents, and water them down or straight up remove them, cheap and lazy filler content serving as time and resource sink for the completionists.

So, are you saying that the challenge runs would of been better implemented as Boss Rush-styled challenges?
Because that's how I'm interpreting this.

Because you're treating modding KP like modding Skyrim. Making manual KP modding seem like it's such a high risk thing for newbies or noobs.

It ain't anywhere close to that complicated where manual modding is highly advised against for a valid reason, where a mod manager would actually be significantly better and more efficient.

Anyone that knows how to DragNDrop or extract directly can mod KP with ease.
You don't need to know anything besides the basics of operating a computer.
If you're arguing that a certain type of group wouldn't even be able to do such basic thing, then forget about them because they won't know nor would they care to learn to use a mod manager.

Removing mods is also as simple as deleting the contents inside the mods folder as most are non-replacers.

The only major replacer mod being CCMod and that isn't even much of a hassle when it comes to a game with such a small size.

I meant modify resistances but there doesn't appear to be anything for what you're looking for there either. I used it to stop her having back to back orgasms during the stripper job because of the talk and sight resists. I guess locking and deleting the passives that make her extra sensitive to certain orgasms could help.
Alright thanks for the solutions and your time!
