Yeah, that's not a fun mechanic.I think it would give more character to her in terms of stuff like the posters to see her reactions to various aspects of the prison (thinking cell doors "get in the way" more as she gets sluttier etc) but I definitely feel the HRPG fatigue of checking every bookcase and other prop because of "There's an item between the pages!" or "Who would store money in a toilet?" situations. I waste a lot less time doing the rpg version of pixel hunting when the game makes it pretty clear there's nothing there like this, which I'm thankful for as well.
I'm glad I'm not trying to open every single box or break every pot used as background decoration or look at every piece of paper thinking its a secret note.
The thing about putting flavor text on random background objects is that once you do it a few times, you trigger the "have to check everything" gamer reflex, which leads to the above exhaustion. Because what if there is a title or item that you only get if you click on the exact right thing, and even worse if it's time sensitive.
For instance, I only knew about it because of this thread, but the pre-game advice cat gives a title after getting petted ten times. AFAIK that's the only type of title acquired like that, but I still have the needling thought in the back of my head: "should I click on everything multiple times?" And let's be real: I'm here to watch Karen get dicked in high quality CGs, not go on a scavenger hunt for text.
*edit: actually that last sentence is underselling the game. The combat is hella unique and the game overall is very addictive despite not being finished.
