October 3rd 2022: Progress Report

Hello everyone, Rem here with this week's Progress Report!

Uh oh, it's October. That scary feeling aside, time for a quick short report! Last week, I've finished designing the gym related Titles, and coding in the gym related Titles and Passives. This week it's looking very likely that I'm gonna start diving into writing the dialogue.

Speaking of which! Sachinama has finished writing the new dialogue, all 300+ lines of them, and sent them over the Japanese voice actress! Sachinama also finished drawing the CG variations for one of the CGs! For those keeping track, only 3 out of 5 remaining!

. Anyway, the titles and passives for the gym area are done, half the CGs are completed, and a bunch of dialogues have been sent to the VA. Things are progressing quite nicely, I think. Should be fun when this update drops. Cheers y'all and be safe!

The thing that it seems strange for me about the nursery is that the only room who we can't access, it's here, with de name on it, but... We can't enter or see them

Because of the empty room I said "silent promise", because it's basicly 'missing content' we've been expecting since floor 1/2. I clearly remember thinking early on in the game that this room would become available at some point. So I wouldn't be surprised if that's a good DLC still in the wetworks now, foreshadowing basically.

And yes, if I'm not mistaken the DLC available on steam will be in the price range of 4$. Not 100% sure of it. Just hearsay basically. Not that it won't be ripped and cracked within the hour lol. Pirate *Aaaarrgghhh..*

It will be a paid DLC. And personally, with the amount of work these guys are putting into it -- including voiced lines and CGs -- I think it's worth shelling out a few bucks their way.

Jup. I allways take into consideration the amount of money I used to spend on arcade games. 5$ back then is like 20$ rn. Paying 5$ for a DLC of a game you replay every once in a whole is beyond reasonable. It's just fair if you are still capable to fork it over in these times. Heck, I paid $100 on Annerose Vajra for Action Taimanin today like a mindless degenerate... 5$ on a game that shows actual nudity and has more gameplay value sounds like a no-brainer to me. And yes, Karryn's Prison is a better game than Hentai-god franchise Action Taimanin, not even close, at least in the current state.

What I also found that is missing from the game, Are nipple sucking cut ins, and cunniligious cut ins. The fact that Karryan didn't Lactate was also dissapointing to me.

Yes. KP is one of my favorite H-games yet.

However, it's worth saying it's basically a corruption-based, FeMC battle-fuck game with a very silly plot. It's far from a VN, for example.

It's insane how much demand the video game market has for high quality games like Karryn's prison. It seems crazy to drop this game and it's name after just one dlc. I think the developer seriously underestimates what he/they have created here. Any dlc, sequel, merch, art that has Karryn on it will sell like hot cakes.

Seriously, If anyone can contact the developers, PLEASE tell them to not abandon this character and IP. It's an untapped gold mine.

Any chances Karryn will get a minor art fix? The anatomy for her torso in her general IDLE pose is not right (the same one for the bar minigame). If that pose was corrected this game would be pretty much perfect.

What we need is a mod that allows Karryan to be in the middle. not a complete slut yet not a virgin. Seeing her fight in complain during sex scenes turns me on.

What I also wanted, is a romance/ slave path where a certin prisoner slowly either romance or corrupts karryan. I'm not into the gangbang nerrative of this game. And I feel that the auther is lazy to either do a pure ending where Karryan goes back to her king, either is the proporty of the whole jail. Insted of being slowly groomed/romanced by one prisoner.

My Brother in Christ, you be saying ANYTHING lmao. You can get her to be in the middle of being a slut or not a virgin it depends on how YOU play her, I do it a lot, you just have to avoid certain hazards nd such. It's like checkers; maybe chess.
Also, a slave path/romance path doesn't rly work in the context of this game at all, it isn't ur average RPGM game, and also that would be fucking boring and so generic. And Karryn does have a pure ending...its the empress ending.

Nipple sucking is in the game, it's when she masturbates you don't need a cut-in for that. Cunnilingual also is an ACTUAL pose it's not just a thing that happens when she works at the desk, get her pussy desire to 85 in battle and goblins start licking; no need for a cut-in when you have a dedicated pose for it. Also, Karryn doesn't have pregnancy as a BASE game thing. Thats dedicated to CC-Mod, why would she lactate?

So... a friend of a friend has a distant cousin who has a relative who was looking for goth Karryn had a hard time finding the thing. So I decided to help them out and look for the thing. Solely for research purposes offcourse. Thought I'd share my findings to remind people of it's existance.

It is on the first page... When u get to the mod page all you have to do is press the drop-down bar where it says dev... No need to make a separate link to the page for mod that can be found with a simple click.
