Check out RedAISkye's profile he uploaded latest version. Or just use search option for 3.0.0.

And If I'm not going to update mods frequently, there's no point in using the mod manager for this game when manual installation is much easier without requiring any tool.
You use the mod manager for convenience not necessarily to update mods since it gives you a load order to better organize mods, more easily install them, know if those are working, know what is overwriting what(and solve eventual conflicts) and remove them safely
Which is something I said multiple times in my posts
Manual install can be much easier(not that much comlared to a mod manager) only if you know what you are doing and provided you do it correctly which is why im not recommending it for newbies
But if you find a simple 1 step installation too complicated, then I guess you can stick to your mod manager as even my grandma knows how to extract files from archive. :KEK:
Never said that it's too complicated i just said that i wouldnt recommend it to people who are new to modding
The extraction process has nothing to do with what im saying it's what happens after that which causes issues
And what I'm recommending is simply installing a program(the mod manager) that takes care both of the extraction and the process of putting the files in the right place and running it
So nothing impossibly difficult to do and certainly not more difficult than manually installing a mod(actually easier since the user does only 10% of the job with a mod manager:ROFLMAO:)
Im happy to hear that your grandma is that gifted(y)
I'm taking specifically for KP but it seems you want to continue making general statements that makes no sense for this game
I was talking about KP and nothing else regarding the statement I made and never mentioned anything else unrelated to that(And I never did in each one of my posts)
The only one that brought up a game(skyrim) that had nothing to do with the topic is you
So what you are saying here has no basis
especially when you haven't even modded the game recently.
What you claim is both irrelevant to the topic and makes no sense
Just because im not modding karryn's prison now it doesnt mean i dont know the methods of mod installation for KP or how they work
Those methods are still the same (manual install,vortex,MO2) and I never said anything that diverges from how you install mods with those
Even modders recommend Vortex over MO2 if you already take their advice of using a mod manager over manual install
"Modders" could literally be anyone so you are making a general statement that has no relevancy in this topic
The point im making is not about recommending a mod manager over another so this is again something unrelated to what im saying
The guide for karryn's prison modding( ) claims that vortex is recommended but it never says anywhere that it's outright superior to MO2 or that MO2 shouldnt be used so ultimately it's up to personal preference
I never said that MO2 should be chosen over vortex because it's straight up better i was just recommending it over the other mod manager for newbies because I find it more intuitive(but as I said this is not the main topic of the discussion)
Instead the installation method that is outright not recommended for karryn's prison mods is the manual installation for the same reasons i explained in my other posts
And the guy who made the guide is not some random dude on the internet but one of the main modders for karryn's prison
so you're just wrong on both topics.
I'm not:KEK:
One topic is irrelevant to the point I was making and in the other I was recommending a mod manager over manual installation which something also recommended in KP modding guide

Yes, by downloading a version that's older, and if you need mods, you'll need to find versions of those that are also compatible to that older game version.
Thanks for stating the obvious, I was asking about anything the latest versions like a new option in the game such as cosmetics, would have face= original/updated. Either way I'm good, just wondering out of curiosity, don't even play this game anymore it gets updates faster than a horse jackhammering on viagra.

If it was obvious, why did you ask it?
Also, my answer was valid, there's no other way to have the old artwork in the game.

I just wish he could develop some new sidejobs honestly since the prison offers many opportunities for those(nurse and teacher come to mind)
But if rem took 1 year to develop gigabooba i dread to think how much time it would take for a sidejob:KEK:

new sidejobs is EXTREMELY unlikely, especially after the Pcup DLC, since the job would need art for like 4 different sizes of tits, and that would take more years than i have left to live...

Why would you think there'd be an option for the old art? It'd be wildly incompatible with literally any of the existing or new content because of all the "revamping" Rem did to pad out his dev time.

Also it's been like a year since the last actual update, what are you on about update frequency? The only thing this game "updates" fast on is pumping out bugfixes for like a week because the releases are always jank as hell. This game barely ever updates, even back when it was still in active development.

Help Is there a way to fix it?
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Yes, just go to the folder that it references, find the image file with the name that is almost the same and rename it to what the game is requesting. Then hit retry.

Edit: It's probably a better idea to first copy and paste the image file you are about to rename first and just rename the copied version so that you will then have the original and the newly renamed one in the folder just in case the originally named one is called for.

Manual mod install for KP is in fact much easier as it's a 1 step thing compared to a mod manager which you need to learn to use and has many steps in order to set it up correctly.

You're not recommending a 1 step install for newbies because of your assumption that they "need to know what they're doing"?
All they need to know is to either DragNDrop the mods into the base-game or extract it directly into it. There's nothing more to it than that for KP.
Another assumption of yours is that it may cause issues later on? If you somehow fuck up a 1 step installation that even my grandma can do, that's completely on you. :KEK: But, a mod manager can cause more issues for newbies if they "don't know what they're doing", one of the common things I've seen them complain about is their saves being gone after they use mod manager or that the mod manager isn't detecting their game at all.

And I've already said this, most issues people face regardless of their installation method are due to version mismatch, missing dependency or a bug with the mod or game itself.

You couldn't even show me a single conflicting mod, all you mentioned was a lack of mod compatibility in the past on a mod that hasn't even been officially updated for years.
Not that this has anything to do with installation methods either, it's an issue with the mod itself which doesn't require a mod manager to figure things out nor does it make it any easier on this game with how the mods work.

Edit: I'll do it on your behalf, the one example of an actual conflicting mod in the past was Cut-in Animations Loop and FastCutins since the latter mod required a newer version of the APNG plugin whereas the first mod was a replacer that was still on the older version of the plugin. Which should be hopefully resolved now.
