I agree that paperdoll system and game code require a lot of resources to maintain or add anything. They lack skill to pull out better architecture (I can only assess the dev), but I can't deny the amount of effort they put into that crappy code. I believe you know that it harder to work with smelly code then with clean one.
I hope you don't imply that you can write 100k lines of code and draw 3k images for 5 minutes that it took me to compare versions.
Anyway, I was baited by the "20 images and 10 lines of code in 2 years" statement. If it was something more realistic I would've passed by
You're excusing Rem from the work that happens to exist because he didnt do his earlier work. I didnt say paperdoll requires a lot of resources, well yes it does, but not in maintaining or modifying, on the other hand, it should require no maintenance and no effort in modding, if built properly. In this case they didnt. It's not about skill, If you dont want to get smelly, stay clean. They went cheap with the codes, it went expensive along the lines, not much defensible here.
That where I say you put more effort than Rem already.
It's not that unrealistic with "20 cgs and 10 lines of codes". Come now, admit it, you like big numbers, where you translate 20 cgs into 5000 images and 10 lines of codes together with 100k+ worth of baggages, result of Rem goes noodle with his codes and it takes more noodles for keep noodles from falling apart. Rem knows you like big things, that's why he's making the big booba dlc no one else asked for and big AAA ahhh price tag, because Remtairy is big AAA company now.
With that considered, to those who see only boobs, Rem's targeted audiences, those big numbers does sound impressive instead of making Rem looks incompetent.
