Can anyone explain how exactly you get the kick counter scene? Obviously you need to be disarmed and kick something but what and when?

Well, some good news then - there's one more planned, on lvl 3.
Lvl 4 and 5 are supposed to focus on the story.
But yeah, considering that the game's supposed to be rather replayable, with each playthrough being relatively short, adding too much stuff would be fairly counter-productive, especially with how much background stuff has to happen with every addition since every edict and passive has an impact (well, bugfixing's also a thing to consider).
It mostly impacts the non-existing endings and there's some minor stuff related to blackmail. By repetition, you need to perform or be forced to perform something X times for that to unlock as a skill.
No, but you must meet requirements like adequate desire level to see them. Majority of scenes happen during the battle and are part of combat.
I think the kick also needs to be non-lethal.

LOL... We are humans and we are not perfect... That is applied to developer(s). Give it time... Which is why I may wait a while before trying version 0.6 or i am just wait until next version release (0.7).

you can change your edicts per day editing in RemtairyEdicts.js
in this line:

just add the amount you want in "let points= ADD HERE;"

And you have to sleep for a night for it to give you new points, that script runs when you wake up.
Ok, so your control value is added to order when you sleep. So if you have 87 order and -5 control, after you sleep you'll have 82 order.
So, if you stack up control increases enough to get positive control that'll increase order (possible on secretary mode at least, not sure about higher difficulties.) Otherwise you need to fight enemies, which can increase order as well. It's specifically ones that are Name (LvL 1) that guarantee raised order, not sure about specific others. It has to be the enemies with the level in parenthesis, and the get stronger after you beat them.
There's an orc titfuck version as well as the kick counter one.
