Yea, it's basically the difference between ideas VS actual story, he might be good at coming up with ideas, but bad at tying them together in a satisfying way.

pretty sure the penthouse just isnt updated since its still the test version. then again, you never know with teary, this update could quite litteraly be a nothing burger. maybe he spent the last year staring at his code thinking *i no no wanna *

There's a lot of content but it's all main story related. Starts from the Missing Spy quest and ends with The Fourth Ritual as far as I know. Personally I thought that the update was good.
as for the story itself, I greatly dislike how things are progressing
the tone of the game has darkened, and its became horror for the sake of horror
as for the content sexual content it was pretty disappointing for me
but those are just issues I have with the game not criticism

the new maps themselves felt like it was ment to bloat the game and waste my time
there was very little content with static characters, with the amount of time thats gone by I expected a fully fleshed out character with kneel,crawl, mindbreaks, a real character we can interact with
what it felt like was we got abunch of 1 time, 1 scene encounters with mobs idgaf about
Overall, with the way the story is turning out. I think I would have rather seen the game abandoned than take the turn it did
I did manage to get through the game without encountering a single bug though so thats pretty nice
(The only thing I have done so far is rush through the main story) and even on very easy it was pretty harsh lol

The quest is that, I need to find the fragments. I am missing 2 in the basement (where Vhidna is) but the rooms are locked. In the upper floors, there is an object in a room, but as soon as I enter, the game freezes. I hope it isn't the key to enter those 2 rooms in the basement.. So i dunno if im stuck or not

I don't think you're bugged, a lot of people get stuck in the mansion. I'll try to help you because once you finish the mansion you will be at the start of the new update anyway.
