One of the main problems for me aswel is that alot of people get named dropped in earlier updates or at a specific point in the story. So when the game has alot of time in between updates you might forget certain connections that you would have made in the past. But yeah if you play it all the content in a short time there are certainly pretty digestable storylines you can filter out of the vast lore.

yeah thats pretty much it,i wish there was an option or smth that lets you travel back in time and read the dialogue in that time
just so if you are invested in the lore, you can remember the things you have done in the past and remember the people and things they say to you

i think that would be helpful

Since most of the major bugs seems to be fixed im gonna try to play the update until the end, the fights are gonna be such a pain in the ass lol, wish me luck.

You're joking but he does usually have a relatively fast schedule for patches after a release.
He then vanishes into the ether again once he moves onto the next big update.
Given the size of this last one, we're probably heading for the drought now ;(
