Unironically the main character is really bad in this fight and Serpentine is the main damage dealer her buffs are really good so if she dies just f5 and try again

Played the new update.
I think my biggest gripe with it was the fairy section, not to spoil too much, but it plays very much like a traditional RPG dungeon, drawn out with many of the same enemies being repeated, which have very little scenes each, it just really doesn't fit Katalist, though I must say I liked the teamup, in fact Dominic, Miki and John have some of the same variables in the code, which makes me think we'll eventually team up with Dominic, John and Miki in battle.
But I have to agree with the sentiment that the enemies are getting overtuned for no good reason, Katalist combat has always been iffy, and I sincerely hope this is adressed in the next update as it is supposed to be a rework, enemies get stronger with levels, which makes enemies level draining you sometimes beneficial, which goes against the point of the fetish.
The story is definitely quite all over the place, I hope Teary starts tying up loose ends and resolving plot points soon, the story is getting quite out of hand with all the new additions. Teary did start using some of the earlier events like Allan's tablet being part of the main story now, which is quite nice. I did like how it progressed, lots of funny moments, story progression with earlier characters, that sort of stuff, just gets a bit muddied by all the new additions imo.
I definitely enjoyed the update, quite a lot in fact, but it had its issues.
And a little tip for you guys, definitely a little late into the game, but in Fair Poison after you finish the fairy quest, go down and circle right and you'll end up in a cemetery, there'll be a new vendor there.
Buy some "Biting Bluegravers", you can apply multiple onto a single weapon, they destroy your defense, but increase mATK, with krystal mode from Ayleen's essence you can get an insane amount of damage, she also sells an accessory and a helmet that massively increase luck. Combine this with the depthswork armor you can craft with materials from Queen Blossom's lair and you're not only immortal, but also hit like a truck. I had around 650 magic attack, and could often crit with just a single darkness sphere for 10k damage a pop.
There's a lot of new content hidden in the files, which will be interesting to explore, already found a new (unfinished) village, and a sleeping living tree of sorts.
TL;DR Verl is super hot, update progresses the story a ton, but sexual content in general is lacking.

Does peng have any content? Lost to her multiple times, exhausted dialogues, even activated god mod to see if in her battle she would do any submission moves but all I got was (very rarely) she would stomp on the player for one attack and that's it...

Apparently so, but I couldn't trigger much of it, she's definitely meant to be a more fleshed out character, she has stare and crawl pictures, but nothing able to be triggered. Might be bugged as of currently.

New gear findings might just be a godsend, wish they were accessible during the hive raid quest though. Version FF seems to have fixed some bugs with the newer characters' fights, so I'll be aiming to work these into my build on my new playthrough (I am insane).Played the new update.

On the topic of the sleeping tree, it's pretty interesting what it has to say! It makes direct mention of Svelva, which further frustrates me as to how seemingly everyone but Dilan knows who Svelva is, despite the apparent significance of this individual to Dilan and how they seemed to be pulling the strings to get him out of his Purplehead possession.
While I'm not a fan of how any of the Purplehead stuff was introduced, Verl is indeed brimming with potential, and I hope Teary makes it possible to meet her again (maybe by making the Purplehead fragment Dilan swallowed an interactable?). There's so much room for submissive routes to be had with Verl, and limiting her screentime completely behind story progression is something of a waste. Same goes for Piknik, honestly, the aesthetic of a veiled reaper assisted by a crow is way too rich to be left behind.
One of the fixes from FF was that Peng's tempt moves were bugged, so yeah she'll get her stuff when the public release drops.
Having now played it I'll agree with the consensus of the Hive being pretty hellish. At times I felt that was the point? But it wasn't a very good point. At the very least the map should be more readable.

I was told to get Pengs *stare* at her *feet* option you had to lose 30 times
I cant verify it though cause I dont care enough to try
Ive gotten all of Pengs scenes, I just jacked my HP up and guarded/healed so they are in there

Verl singlehandedly saved the purplehead arc, in retrospect I think Piknik might have made a better Letterer, I just find Piknik strange as a whole, two characters occupying more or less the same role with the same thematic?
Good to know Peng got fixed, hopefully the character is more interesting than meets the eye.

On other thoughts of the update, tbh I didn't feel very strongly about Verl because, well... it's just getting a bit ridiculous, no? Not just the pawn thing but this is like the 4th cosmic dreamy entity possessing Dilan and making him kill people. Does she do anything that Bonnie couldn't have...?
She does have good H scenes tho.
I'm willing to trust Teary to deliver on the payoffs so I can tolerate the mysteries, but I hope he doesn't forget that the audience has to keep track of all the shit being thrown. I've had experience with writing projects falling apart due to the plot getting overstretched, so that's my only real concern.
On the other hand I can forgive the Letterer's existence because the concept of the benadryl Hatman being in Katalist is just really funny to me.
On a side note, anyone find all the special reactions that characters get to Stone? As far as I can see, Vhidna, Maven, Noo, Serenata, Vaila and Dixie react. Dixie being particularly interesting because apparently us taking Stone to the real world isn't just a gameplay abstraction.

How does one smoke with Trent? I've been visiting him in the bushes beside the dorm, but can't get anything out of him other than "heeeyy." On a related note, how can we play tag with Walter?
Also it was probably for the best that Alex and Julia's scene went by so fast. Getting to see that in detail is... wow.
Verl had almost everything she needed to be one of the greatest Katalist characters ever, but funnily enough Teary pulled his punches so hard with her execution. Having consequences bordering on divinity would have easily, impactfully, set Verl apart from Bonnie/Katja, but not only did nothing of the sort get hinted at, we didn't even see internal turmoil going on between Dilan's mental entities and Verl apart from Katja running for the hills the minute bendaryl hat man shows up.
Hell, maybe Letterman has to be in the game considering the planned expansion of narcotic buffs
