RPGM - Completed - Kiara - The Knight of Icicles [v1.05b] [war shop]

The game isn't bad, but there's a lot of wasted potential.
The art is good but progressing in the events takes too much time (since you also have to progres in the main story at the same time), and there's also not many of them.
Scenes also tend to drag on for too long.
The battle part isn't bad, tho. The game is pretty easy, and there is no game over for losing (actually you get a scene and then a short "escape" section). And you don't even need to lose battles to get some action with the monsters.
After all, it's a mixed bag.

Game is pretty mid/average. The good point of this game is definitely the ART/H CG. Other parts of the game are pretty much an afterthought. Game is basically an EVENT CG gathering linear game (the game has forced H scenes and linear plot). PLAY IT IF you like the ART, the dialogue is short and the game ends quickly enough if you just go main story and unlock gallery at game completion. There are some hiccups with the translation (particularly when it comes to battle dialogue wherein the dialogue uses an out of context early dialogue on the scene).

Keep in mind that this game is published(and translated) by REMTAIRY not developed so keep your expectations in check.

Decent art, everything else is pretty basic though. Outside of the inital scene in the introduction and the scenes in the prison section there's nothing to really draw you to them organically, being capped on level and needing no new equipment means there's little reason to visit any location that isn't plot required. So while you could visit the item shop that only sells potions you'll never need or the brothel to earn money you don't have any use for, it makes more sense to just rush to the end of the game and view all the scenes in one place.

TLDR: Barebones game with some alright vanilla scenes, download a gallery save.

Has a brisk but not break neck speed pace. art is 10/10 more realistic style than anime drawing style. story was actually engaging which makes it a perfect 10 for a porn game, 1 star off for no anal scene/most of the positions being missionary.
Also i wish artist where more consistent with proportions, bending over Kiara has a dumper to rival and ghetto latina, standing up she has a perk, but bit flat butt. just a little qualm of mine.

It's a classic corrupting rpg maker game where MC get pushed and pushed until you unlock all the scene.
The art for me is around 4 to 9 depending on the scene.

the translation is good but the writing is a bit weak sometimes and doesn't really hit the themes of corruption/lowering of inhibitions for a character who is otherwise a renowned knight.

gameplay is basically just kill the mob or keep pressing defend to see the H scenes. I don't take much issue with this since games like this are rarely engaging for gameplay anyway. my biggest disappointment with the combat H scenes is there is no variations and no multiple partners.

wish there was more events. game doesn't have the length or depth of other remtairy games like karryns prison or meltys quest. it's more similar to clymenia games but again not up to the same quality or quantity of H scenes and corruption.

good for what it is, definitely worth a playthrough and support for the developers if you enjoy female protagonist games like this.

Decently drawn game, but a warning for those seeing the Remtairy label and expecting something similar to Melty's Quest or Karryn's Prison: don't. Remtairy assisted in localizing and publishing this game but did NOT develop it. The developer is another circle called war shop.

Unfortunately, while effort may have been put into the assets, the plot and gameplay suffer. There is no leveling, but there is still combat, and while there is in-combat rape, you have to put in effort to actually lose (unless you just hit the surrender button). What's more as there's no corruption system (the best we can do here are "hot points"), the heroine's motivations and reasons for not resisting the situations she's placed in are contrived and/or paper thin.

If the artwork appeals to you, give it a go, otherwise I couldn't recommend.

This game is honestly pretty average. Easy combat (for winning and losing) with one losing scene for each mob type. You have a few combat rape scenes, but those can be also seen when escaping enemy lairs after losing. Sex scenes aren't too bad. The dialogue for them are okay. There's quite a bit of dialogue for certain NPCs and certain story plots. Most male NPCs will also have at least one h-scene and they can be pretty short. The art for those scenes are okay too, I guess, some art get recycled often though. There are like 2 or 3 bad ends and 2 different endings you can choose if you beat the game.

If you think the female protag is attractive then try it out.
