For starters, I use Firefox. I have been hacked, before, and I feel it is "safer" than alternative browsers. Firefox may actually be the problem when you consider how they have been discontinuing plugins. (I can no longer view movies on HBO GO using Firefox, either.) As for add-ons, I run Ghostery and Ad-Block Plus.
A screenshot wouldn't show anything unusual outside of images not loading and therefore being replaced by an icon.
okay, first of all: start firefox with everything disabled. you can do that by disabling all add ons, by (i think) going to windows safety mode and using firefox there OR by opening the option panel (i will show ya the last option via screenshots):
for the first two steps: click on the e-hentai link again and tell me if you can see the pics now. if yes, then we know it's an add on. if no, we might have to dig in further. if it doesn't diesturb ya too much, you can try the last option and clean firefox which will delete all the configuartions you made (i would suggest writing down the add ons if you have a bunch of 'em).
for the last step: it will promt ya to ask whether you wanna go to safety mode or clean everything. first try the first option, 'cause the second one deletes ya stuff and should be your last resort.
after you did the step by step instruction, you will literally have a vanilla firefox (you should see ads now on f95zone...in theory). now try the link from e-hentai again. if the pics work now then we know, it's an add on causing the issues. if not, we will need to dig further. but first things first ^^.
firefox itself isn't the problem. i'm using it since... actually forever... they didn't discontinue plug ins or so, they just brought out the new version quantum which is coded differently. most old plugins don't work with that new coding design anymore, that's why so many are discontinued or simply disabled. however they are quite some plug ins and add ons out there already and the most important ones like tempermonkey or ublock work like a charm. it just takes time for the creators of said plug ins to be compatble witht he new codes.
about the requested screenshot: i don't care if it doesn't show anything unusual for you. i am the one who wants to see it. i can gather a lot more infos out of such a screenshot than out of texts. i can see then what kind of firefox you are using, if yours is outdated, what plug ins are used, what options are enabled or disabled and so on and so on. if you wanna let me help ya you should try to give me the infos i need in return...
btw. you can do a windowed screenshot by pressing ALT+PRINT if you don't want to show others your windows bar.
