Hmm a lot people are saying that the update is underwhelming but I won't judge until I won't finish it. Judging just because of scenes is a bit absurd but I understand you. CG'S definitely are the most important part for me too.

Misc thoughts and Summary:
First things first. This, in my own opinion, was a long wait for perhaps an hour and a half of content. I said last time I'd save the disappointment for this update if it turned out to be underwhelming as well, and this time I'm pretty disappointed. The story doesn't go anywhere, the random events are all one offs that don't take long, and the Captains are entirely absent. Now, this may be because 0.6 is supposed to take place at the same time as 0.5, in which case this update is basically about filling in the holes in the previous one. If that's the case, great, I'm sure people waiting on the full game will appreciate that, but waiting four months for this really doesn't feel like it was worth it.

TLDR: If you skipped 0.5, you'll probably like it. If you played 0.5, you almost certainly won't enjoy it as much. There's things to like, but very few of them.

Other thoughts:
Once again, the beautiful bisexual Elmy is used as orc fodder instead of being put to proper use as Sabia's permanent tent-warmer. Now, I don't mind her having a slavery route, I mind that all of her content is there and the scenes themselves that she's in keep referencing the fact that she's got a lot of hopes and dreams and prefers women to boot. The fact that she's always available for hire, she states multiple times that she likes Sabia (if you're on the Freedom/Solo path), and Sabia mentions that she needs practice with women just annoys me further.

I know it's probably a pet peeve, but seriously, Elmy: Sabia's got the Lundils, if she doesn't then the General Goods store is about to go broke again, she needs the practice, you need a strong female warrior to spoon you and gently finger you awake every morning while she captures your first moan with a kiss, and you're pining for someone you can care about. We can make this work, I promise.

Still no comforting Jadk and helping the old orc relieve the truly ridiculous tension in his balls. Still mad about it.

I feel that the underwhelming part is more to do about the lack of content, I would even accept repeatable scenes but they still haven't included one of those since the bj during chapter 1.

I don't know what to say about this update...I don't know if they're scamming or just making poor design decisions, but it's a shame to see a simple but great game like NN be followed up by what can only be described as a hot mess such as this.

The last update was released on the 23d of May. That's more or less 4 months ago. 4 months for 5 whole scenes. Astonishing. There are content creators on here who get torn to shreds for delivering only 5 scenes in a month/month and a half. I'm baffled that they could honestly look at this update and say "Yes, this is good, this a satisfactory amount of work for 4 months."

To go back on an earlier complaint that I had; when going with Maply to find some hellhound thing, a battle starts and Sabia starts with 25/51 HP. I have no idea how this happened. Sabia had rested before hand several times yet that doesn't heal HP? Then how do I heal HP? Is it a bug? Those can happen, that's fine. Is it a design decision? Am I supposed to have a potion on hand, just in case? Am I supposed to be able to beat this orc with only 25 HP? That might be possible, if the last update hadn't been released 4 MONTHS AGO with a new battle system that I barely understood then and I definitely forgot all about now. Both NN and TLS had very basic battle systems but because of class nuances there were some interesting and varied options for combat (especially in TLS). I still feel like they went way overboard with the KoD battle-system, as it's far too complex and unintuitive to really get a hang, especially in these phases where it was changed only last update AND as a player you don't have a lot of time to practice because there just aren't that many battles. I feel like the game would be better if it either simplified the battle system OR just got rid of it all together and made the raid combat the main system of battle or try to implement something Fire Emblem/Shining Force/Advance Wars-like (which would also fit Sabia's character more, although I understand it might be difficult to write that in in the early game).

I think in general this game has such an overflow of information. I understand Hreinn Games has always been more a "game with porn" rather than a "porn with game" group, but you just go on that world map and it's so full of stuff that you can't interact with and is just there to distract you or because it used to be something you could interact with (get rid of it) or because you will be able to interact with it at some point in the future (have it appear when it's useful). And then you go do the tentacle quest and there's a whole novel of dialogue and you go back to camp to rest because Saby's tired now and then you go back to the quest and there's another novel of dialogue and you head back to camp again to rest and you head back to the tentacle quest and oh there's a little teaser of a future scene bundled in with some more dialogue and you head back to camp AGAIN to rest AGAIN and you go back to the quest and you get more novels of dialogue and you head back to camp ANOTHER TIME and oh my god you go back to the quest and whaddaya know there's that porn scene we've all been looking for, yay, we got there. It's too much. I was very excited for this game when it started but I feel like every update has just drained my excitement more and more and I've come to the point where I no longer really care for this game.

I'm sure people will tell me that I shouldn't complain because I'm not a patreon, but if Nomo or Sierra reads this and gets even the slightest bit of an idea out of it to improve their game, that'd be more than enough for me.

@TheMagister - She has half HP because she's ambushed by the third orc and he gets a hit in before she can stop him.
Yes, I read that in your post which appeared while I was writing mine, I must have missed that somehow. Either way, I didn't have any health potions, and I don't know how winnable it is. Guarding makes you lose momentum, which increases the damage he puts out. If you just attack, he eventually takes you out because of his health advantage anyway. I mean, I don't have the silver blade equipped, so maybe I should give that a try.

I was really enjoying the first few updates of this game, but the whole orc thing is getting boring really fast.

Honestly, after these last updates taking 4~ months each to release, with little to no content and the story getting more and more boring, I can finally say that this is a huge disappointment after Noxian Nights. Only saving grace of this game is Neve, because the rest is pf.

I agree, that reading through all that text is a chore and gets boring really fast, hence why I hate Visual novels. I already said it that the large world they have in mind, with RPGs combat mechanics, would perfectly fit into a RPG Maker game. They could have even surpassed games like Roundscape adorevia in quality.
Now we wait 4 months to get 5 scenes and if you, like me, don't enjoy the catgirls/orcwomans/furries, you are kinda screwed. KoD is a massive stepdown from NN, atleast I was excitied whenever they updated NN.

I agree, I actually haven't played this game since the very early versions, because I saw it was only going to be focused on orcs and only orcs specifically. Came back to see if any variation had developed, nope.

I mean I don't have anything against orcs, there's plenty of games that have orcs in it that I really like; there's something I cant quite put my finger on about this game that makes me really tired of them. Also the bad posing on the hellhound scenes don't help.

Can very much agree with you. This game would fit very well on RPGM, as Noxian Nights did, and might not even be boring as fuck as it is right now, since it also has combat anyways (terrible, by the way).

In RPGM at least the combat would be much better, the updates would probably come out much faster (unless they dont even work in the game, Im not even sure anymore even tho I always kind of defended them on this), and the 3-5 scenes we get every 4 months would at least give you like 3 to 4 hours of gameplay.

about this game that makes me really tired of them
That all the scenes look very same-ish?

4 Months, 5 Scenes and Sabia features in a whopping 2 of them. Either they shot themselves in the foot with this Ren'py bullshit or we have to concede that Sierra has lost interest in this game.
