I mean, if that's how it was supposed to be then its kind of really crappy game design isn't it? Reminds me of those old japanese porn games where the only way of getting the "good" ending is by avoiding all the sexual content in the game, and if you ever get an H-scene the game chastises and punishes you for looking at porn... in a porn game. Unless your kink is getting kink-shamed that doesn't sound like a very fun experience.

The thing is, my impression back in the initial versions of KoD was that this was not going to be a game about playing as either Dom-Sabia or Sub-Sabia, but about Sabia learning how to be both, and when to be each. She needed to learn how to deceive people with a soft and sensual approach, while still being able to lead people in a convincing and commanding way. I think this rationale deals with some of the complaints people have about Sub-Sabia, like she still murdering the disrespectful groping orcs in the bar and not selling herself in the relief tents like a common whore when it is no longer needed, those are mandatory concessions a Sabia leaning towards being more submissive needs to make because she still needs to be a respected figure among the orcs.

To the game's fault, the mandatory concessions a Dom-Sabia needed to make are not quite as apparent, since they mostly come down to not being a massive racist and showing some respect for orcs and their culture, like she did in the trial and in the feast, I guess the game wanted this to be a bigger deal because of how arrogant Sabia was before the game started but meh, being a bit diplomatic with the people that pretty much hold you prisoner really isn't asking for a lot.

I think the game got bad in this regard because we've been stuck dealing with mainly orcs for far too long, orcs are the "brute" stereotype, they respect strength and submissive seduction doesn't really work on your average grunt, sure its easy enough to get some coins that way, but he is just gonna think you're a slut, you won't inspire any admiration. So it makes sense that Dom-Sabia would be better with orcs in general, maybe Sub-Sabia will be better to seduce the more intelligent orcs like the captains, but that plot-point has been moving very slowly. To mend this issue, I really think the game should have just let us interact with other races outside of the camp immediately after the red arena event, or maybe even as early as after the catgirls but before the feast. Going to places where Sabia knowing how to act more submissively and less aggressive would be better.

Lastly, about scene distribution, sure there's only so many ways to write scenes with the "brute" archetype orcs, and not many of those would involve much femdom, but the game has sometimes avoided giving Dom-Sabia sexual content for no good reason at all, sure some stuff needs to be exclusive to Sub-Sabia, but mostly they are "loser" scenes (like sexually bribing the red arena guards for extra chances), which I think Sub-Sabia already had too many of them anyway. Also Neve sleeps with orcs when she wants and no one disrespects her for it, since Sabia is basically a pseudo-captain at this point, surely some male companionship would be an option right?

Easily one of my biggest gripes in this matter is the lack of a follow up by choosing the dom route with the hellhound, the dom route creates this nice master-pet dynamic between Sabia and the hellhound, it requires you to miss out on the handjob scene but the relationship you're creating with him will lead to something down the road right? Wrong, in the follow-up quest there is litterally zero mention of anything concerning the dom route, it is just the same as if you had drugged and beaten up the dog. It would have been so easy to give it a dom variation where the hellhound is more obedient to Sabia, but because he is in a rut at some point he rolls on his back exposing his erection and whines at Sabia to help him with it, and Sabia could do it because dealing with it would help resolve the quest, and since the hound is submissive to her she could do it in her own terms.

Edit once again.. too bad when hell hounds jumps her you cant see anything from hellhounds body.. Like come on you should've made hell hounds body transparent and let us focus on her booty. But its alright update, kinda pissed off that tent scenes are not sex ones but just a god damn pole dance. Okay I guess..

I would disagree with you on your first point. I think that's a good design point. I want that choice even if I never take it because otherwise it's just railroading me. For me, a good corruption game should offer the choice of the harder but good path and easy but corrupt path. Sort of Light Side vs Dark Side. It better highlights for me that I'm playing this character/game the 'wrong way' and that I could be so much better than this. Each 'failure' brings me/the MC on a downward spiral into Hell

An ok update, can't give much high praise since the tent scenes such as they are is just ass slapping and dancing but the remaining content is good. As someone else said earlier the Hellhound scene could have used some transparency to make the angling work. Overall I'd rate it a 7.3 out of 10.

I'm glad to see the writing still has quality and story moved in a positive direction after 2 updates of no progress. The hentai was nice but could be nicer if the dancer had sex. I think it's going to happen in the next update. Overall I'm pleased.

One of my new years resolution was to not look into gallery before finishing the game so wish me luck. Didn't even download it yet because no time but I'm getting there.
