Hello, I do want to say, having downloaded your compressed file, that it was a great demo piece. I have a few suggestions for what I'd like to see soon, but I understand that this is 0.01 version, so you clearly have some plans not yet shown.
Pro: The dialog options worked very well, the girls responded well, and everyone can understand the mechanics of the D20 die I believe. (At least at this point.) I also liked that there were future options, but marked as WIP.
I enjoyed the scene with one quest / task option. Well done.
Desired improvements (What I'd like to see soon.):
-Girls at the court having a job to do. I hate having a a cost of living tax, but no way to put the girls to work. Seeing that they were sitting around with nothing to do, but also no way to assign them job bothered me. (Unless, and this might be worse, that there were ways to assign jobs and I couldn't figure it out.)
- A bit more tutorial or maybe labelling for what the main room buttons do. Everything was trial and error until I saw the "Girl Guide" for summoning the girl. [I would have liked to know what was the purpose of the interview before I did it. Are they going to staff positions, are they maids, are they royal courtiers? I didn't know until I'd hired them.]
-I'd also have liked to have been able to interview all the candidates before choosing who I'd hire. Also, I'd prefer to have a guide available for those of us who get the Japanese/Anime/Hentai-Sterotype Girl choices confused. It is a shorthand, and I know there are many here who instantly identify what is meant, but I couldn't bring it to mind.
Great work, I'd like to see more.
(As another example program to check- a bit older Civ style 4x- XXXiv. I really like this game, I know this doesn't seem your style, but maybe worth a look.)
