its hard to know. the program is "big" so theres a lot going on.
- call failed.
its usually when you try to use a command from an API that is not there or incompatible.
could be direct2d, could be an API, very hard to say.
remember, this game is created in windows 7, so it need that version of windows to work properly.
did u install the .webp? WebpCodecSetup in the help\ folder?

u can't even get it to open.
I think it most be the pre-loading of the API, already at that stage u get an error.
I think u can't access Direct2d and Windows Imaging Component.
when u run the game, first it will use "GDI" to render the logo.
after that it will initiate direct2d. so see if u can run direct2d/wic.

Is there a way to change jobs? I chose the warrior job and I started to regret it fast once I realized everything outside of magic does subpar damage, so now I'm stuck chipping away at mobs while not being able to use the better staffs that are available.

Alright, I'm at a loss. Where is "the smithy" so I can find the last of the eyes? I can't find the spot with the heavy machinery either...
Also, I completed the jump quest and I can't get Luna's "Sleeping Woman" quest going. Am I doing something wrong?

The Smithy is Asuna's House in An Empty Town. As for Heavy Machinery, is this for The Chief in Henesys?
As for The Sleeping Woman, you should click the Books, the Photos, and the notes under her chibi. That's probably what you're missing.
Found the smithy. The heavy machinery is a place I need to go to find the pure water for a quest.
