fore some reason my game wont start at all and i cant figure out why it will boot and then windows will tell me that maple.x has stopped working and close the game

Weird. The Public Release is on Friday so you can easily try again then with the current system updates we included the last two months

Just like some previous users, I am stuck on the first cage lock puzzle. Not because its hard, but because it just does nothing when I click the heart? or anything for that matter.

Had a bit of an oddity, I usually play this on my main pc but decided to try it on my laptop. Got an error message saying "runtime error 13" then the game closed before even starting. Just wondering if there's a fix, or if the mighty power of maple is too much for the potato lappy.

Windows 10 and 60hz.
Edit: my main pc plays it fine so not a huge issue for me if you can't fix. Just figured I should let you know incase it's some kind of bug.

run-time error 13 is type mismatch. could be anything really that is not initialized correctly.
so, lets analyze it a bit more:

- tell me exactly what u see when u run it. any mascot showing? (the admin pic), music starting? screen resizing?
- laptop has integrated GPU right? so the CPU memory is shared? if not, tell me the GPU memory size
- how did u install it? made a copy or u used the zip? where did u put it? desktop?
- make sure theres not any antivirus messing it up. theres users reporting the game didnt work because of AV doing something

so what we can try:

- create a C:\games\ and place the game in there (example c:\games\kingsfall\) and run it from there
- if theres a .sav file, remove it (make a backup) and try to run the game fresh.
- if AV, try to make the game-folder in "exception" list (white-list) or similiar.
- run WebpCodecSetup.exe in the help\ folder, to make sure webp works

if nothing works, what we can do:
- extended debug-testing, but for that, its better to take it on our discord or in PM. we will run a "test-exe" to figure out "where" it happens.

Will test all these fix suggestions when I get back from hell-I mean work. Thanks baka for the help. Sorry for replying late, getting real hectic these past few days.

Completely avoidable and the game warns you twice before it actually starts. You cucking other men and stealing their wives is also optional. Game is based around choice so you have all the freedom you crave.

It's getting their and growing bit by bit (NTS). I think we just hit 24 sharing scenes with 4 being not on Corruption Route

ok so... the bug I had with valerie that was about her not returning from her tier 1 mission... I was able to send her on a tier 2 mission.. she then returned from the mission which was the left option I don't remember what it was called but it only rewarded xp and I now cannot select tier 2 missions... but I can select tier 1 missions
edit: I didn't want to risk sending her on it in hopes to not break it further

Alright, we figured it out. Download this and unzip in the main folder. Replace exe and Ui Story. Should auto work

1. Create a new Character and under Difficuly, choose Noob
2. Start the game and talk with Ms Records
3. In her Quest menu, choose Beginner Shop and buy The Noob Medal. Equip it with I
4. Head right into town and find The Recollection Room
5. Head inside and voila. Complete Gallery

what u do is:
- create a new character
- under difficulty pick: Noob (not easy) so right click two times.
- start the game
- pick the bag for some money (optional)
- u can buy the noob medal in the shop (ms records) (optional) equip it so u move faster
- go to recollection, everything is open
