the idea is to create a game that looks like HM&M but you are playing one of the heroes.
so u only play 1 character. not sure yet about any dynamics, if the lords commands you, how the towns are contructed etc. that part will be thought later, also the writer Haseo will need to think how he want the game to be.
but the idea is that u can walk around, find treasures, fight other heroes and monsters and assault castles.
I plan to use HM&M 1/2 art, not 3 (that I think its the best version), since I actually like the style in 1/2.
maybe it will be all about the heroes? we will see. but this is just one of all the ideas I have, maybe we will never make it.
Ahh, so basically campaign mode.

Gonna draw inspiration from 4? Allowing us to move minions w/o a hero?

Also, not going to make the MC a lord?

nothing is decided.
the only thing I know is that I want to make one hero the protagonist instead of u controlling multiple heroes.
this to create a game+vn styled game.
I mean, we could even start with 1 peasant, that u walk around with and he improve bit by bit until he's hero-ready.
so, I dont want to make the same game but using the world of hm&m and its colorful sprites and backgrounds and its nice music. in the end it should be erotic, thats important.
and who knows, maybe the hero can be a lord or even the king?
but again, this is just ideas, kings fall is not finished, and maple.x engine is just 50% done. so a few years to go.

For Luna's quest where do you turn in the orange mushroom doll? It seems that I got one before starting this quest but I can't turn anything in? Do I need to get another one or do I need to find Luna in another map?

The Renka encounters need to be re-tuned. I'm currently in part 4 of the quest stage, and my experience fighting her has been a huge waste of time. Her health far exceeds anything else you encounter in the area, and she has an obscure blocking mechanic where she just randomly won't take damage for a few seconds. Granted, little dragon has this, but he also doesn't take forever to kill, so that's less of an issue. The only thing that makes Renko tedious rather than frustrating is that she is too weak to do any actual damage, so the fight just becomes a ten minute grind on other monsters while occasionally clicking on her when her invulnerability is down.

And when I say her health far exceeds anything else, I do not exaggerate. This is the same map with the snail boss, and I decided to fight him due to boredom on clicking on Renka. Mano took about a minute to click and kill, while Renka took me almost 10. Not exaggerating on that timescale either my warrior pill buff had 10 seconds left on it when I finally killed her through the rng.

Please consider dropping Renka's health by a factor of 5 or so, and maybe find a way to change the enemy block system so it's less frustrating in how it's presented.

It should be a Raul spot but if you don't see him anywhere, send me your save and I can set it to auto run

Send your save. We fixed the bug around it but older saves might have issues if it was alreadu queued

We will for sure look into her stats. Most players haven't said much about her in actual combat so this helps us fine tune things

Here's the save. Any future plans to work some heroes into the game like Aran or Mercedes? I'm guessing characters like Cygnus and Lilin will be added eventually as well considering there's wip for Rien and Ereve.

I appreciate the response. Her presence and tuning felt different compared to the usual gameplay pace up to that point, but I didn't realize she was a relatively new addition, so I can now understand more of why her encounters felt so different.

I've also recently realized that some of my criticisms on her aren't directly related to her, but rather misunderstanding game mechanics. What I've been calling the "obscure blocking mechanic" is, from what I can understand, my attacks not doing enough damage to bypass an enemy's defense. The confusion came from no damage being referred to as "guard", but also it felt different from normal attacking.

This is a separate issue from individual monster balancing, but I recommend changing hit feedback for 0-damage attacks so that there's no period of monster invulnerability. Or alternatively, if that invulnerability time is a desired balancing feature, still have player clicks register visually without no actual mechanical effect so they know it's still following standard attack mechanics.

any monster, including Renka will be too strong to handle if your own level is lower than the monster.
Renka we could say shes like a boss, so shes even stronger than a normal monster.
u should not hunt her if you are not ready for her. its like going to golems when you are level 20.
remember that Renka is like the MC, so shes really strong and when she level up she grow even stronger.

comparing to Little Dragon, Renka has x2 more hp
she has 25% more weapon attack and defense and 33% more avoidability

My problem isn't that she's too strong to handle, but rather that she's a hassle to fight. I have no clue what her specific numbers are due to the fact that she levels up, coupled with no accessible base stats to draw any sort of meaningful expectations, so all I have to go on for how "strong" she is is my experience fighting her. The problem is that my experience fighting her, from the moment I first encountered her up until completing part 6 of her wandering princess questline, has consisted of her being a joke.

She simply does not do enough damage to bypass my defenses. In comparison, elite enemies in the region, at least on initial entry, are still capable of inflicting damage. As a result, encounters with her consist of waiting for my autoclicker to spend 5-10 minutes whittling her health down in between farming the local monsters.

Really, it was only only after finishing completing part 6 of her quest where the dynamic of her encounters changed, and it wasn't in an interesting way. Now, she does minor damage, while I cam incapable of doing any damage to her.

If the intent is to have her be stronger than a normal monster, then I'm sorry to say she's failed in that aspect. I am far more concerned with the elite enemies that pop up when grinding than I am with Renka, and the largest threat she poses is walking in front of my mouse whenever I try to fight said elite enemies. Instead, she fills the role of bugged encounter, where something about her tuning is just completely wrong.
