VT doesnt really scan much, look at how they come to their conclusions and that their ppl use settings made for that site...they go after reports and co...and its only one tool, that over here in Germanistan, pretty much nobody uses or even knows about, that gives you a generic "Trojan.Agent", which means that this has to be a false positive.
i had 3 games downloaded just now and all got flagged for having a virus in them and FF stopped the download and i gave them a pass anyways and you know what, nothing happend, coz there is nothing there.
Same thing with Strip Club Wars, which has pages of complains about some virus being in there and yet nothing came of it, as there is none, if it hasnt been added by the hoster...which usually isnt the case...
With somany virusses i must have by now, if all the false alarms were true, my system wouldnt even be able to load a website...and dont get me starting on writing a comment here...^^
So pls dont crap your pants over nothing, be careful, but not outright panicking, also admins here are pretty harsh with infected uploads and have kicked ppl off who tried that, they take this very seriously...and gofile is usually never flagged, it mostly hits mixdrop for some reason...even tho 99.99% of the cases its also just false alerts.

The latest update should not affect the game saves. Is there any chance that you have modified the save file in any way? Did you switch between versions (Premium/Basic)? Did you jump between builds (e.g. from v3 to v5)? Did you have any game crash at any point? There is a message about closing the game - did you click the save game icon (top-right corner) before closing?

no, I didn't mod the save nor have I jumped versions, v5 basic was the first time I downloaded the game. Yes I saved the game before closing, my button on the main screen says continue but when I click it a black screen fades in from the left and that is it.

so it looks like save file is corrupted. Could you send it out? It's inside documents folder and it's called kingsfavor_save_0.json

File is empty, probably something went wrong during saving, will recheck save module
I would say around 1-2 hours, question to others if they recommend playing
