The bounties of the sea are free for we. Don't you agree Willy? (don't mind the maritime talk but you have a point there)Paywall for this? I've seen better games with more content for FREE.
copeUgh, hate wave
All the characters are free and will be free forever. There are a couple of scenes locked and some custom clothes. Character clothes will always be free
Let me remind you that the game started just 3 months ago. I'm working on it nonstop and without Patreon it won't be possible

My only concern is probably just the societal views people are having. Mostly just complaints about how they feel swindled out of their money. Which is understandable considering the prices of stuff only rising in these times (not gonna open an economic bag of worms for sanity's sake). They're just hoping the public content would've been less lacking in their opinion (making these things work for a game is probably a huge time consumer but you know how it goes on the side of the donator). It's good that you're consistently working on the game. I myself could only wish to create such a thing myself but lack a lot of things to do so given my low financial status. Hopefully you can make it to the end and that all the money pooling in will result in something worthy. Stay strong out here chief. It gets pretty savage out here and a good foundation is a sturdy one. Good luck.Ugh, hate wave

Let's not pretend you're asking for 3-5$ You're asking people to pay for the equivalent of full-priced Indie games each month while aggressively advertising your Patreon through inaccessible buttons or actions that have no right being in the Demo version of this game in the first place.Ugh, hate wave

My guy, currently you are charging $43 a month for a glorified dress-up animation viewer.Ugh, hate wave

Valid points indeed. (It really does feel a bit far out there even for a small dev. The public has their rights in comparison to how other devs do their content. For example, varying tiers starting from $1 a month in order to garner more of a following. Starting the inflation rate at the price of a large chicken sandwich combo in my country is definitely a turn-off. I want the dev to succeed but at the same time, I can admit the patreon and content should've been handled more accommodatingly to avoid the amount of outrage happening currently.Let's not pretend you're asking for 3-5$ You're asking people to pay for the equivalent of full-priced Indie games each month while aggressively advertising your Patreon through inaccessible buttons or actions that have no right being in the Demo version of this game in the first place.
If you do all of that, it's going to rub the people the wrong way. Now if you stop mentioning your Patreon every single second you can get, and instead mention it once or just have a link to your Patreon in your main menu- with the combination of a fair price model. I doubt you'll be getting this much disappointment.
Start the game: "Hello thank you for playing Kiss My Face, this demo version is under development. If you would like to help support Kiss My Face, visit us over at [Patreon Link]. I hope you enjoy the experience."
