Ren'Py - Completed - Knightly Passions [DLC v3.0] [FEYADA]

This game is much promising, art is incredible and still has a lot of room to grow. The developer is putting a lot off effort into creating a good game, turn-based rpg style, along with the addition of item creation (in the future), will make it ideal for players who like that style. looking forward to it in the future bqs it will be good.

Not much content yet, but the art is drop dead gorgeous and the sex animations are great as well. Story is bland and there is a small amount of grind, but the girls are extremely attractive which makes it worth it. The combat system is very promising, just not developed very far yet. It gets 5-stars from me because I love seeing this level of quality and art in independent games, even if it takes an eternity for more content to release.

The art is beautiful and that's a fact.

That being said-- the game simply isn't fun. Lots of bugs, an irritiatingly slow interface, "puzzles" that would bore a reasonably bright kindergartener, mediocre English. (Maybe the Russian version is better, to be fair.) It kind of reminds me of Innocent Witches-- slow/irritating gameplay sabotaging beautiful art.

If you're looking for an entertaining game this isn't it. Probably worth ripping the gallery though.

Art style is fantastic, h-scenes are also well animated. Only complaints are some minor grammar issues and same gameplay mechanics, but thats making a mountain out of a molehill. While the game is still a WIP, its genuinely high quality. High recommend from me.

Pros:

- Good art.
- Has decent animation. Not astounding animation, but it's something compared to only still images.

Cons:

- Poor grammar/sentence structure (English). I often got confused as to what a sentence was trying to say/convey, and had to read plenty a few times to figure it out. Does not help that there is no rollback key as far as I can tell so I can't go to the next sentence to get a bit more context on what the sentences are trying to say/lead to.
- Scenes and situations feel a bit abrupt. It feels like there's barely any build up to anything happening. Sister goes missing, get a note same day she's doing great, next day get another note with money from her. See a woman in a room, next moment having sex with woman in room. Maybe it's just me not reading the sentences right based off the previous point, but these sudden developments and scenes aren't my cup of tea.

I found it hard to get into the game due to the sentences confusing me quite a bit as well as the abruptness of the scenes.

First game of 20 that I've taken the time to click stars for.

The art is great, the writing is solid, and the gameplay is clean. the only negative was inevitable "that's all for this version" message. Looking forward to what is to come!

Underestimated and very beautiful game, the plot and idea are just awesome.
It's so sad that the game is in Early Access and gets so little attention. I highly recommend it to any player, from beginners to boredom-tired olds

I've been looking for a similar game for a long time, and finally found it. Perhaps I'll start with the pros. The very first thing that catches your eye is a nice picture. The artist did his best. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that sex animation was added to the game (30 frames and more is better than 2 frames in sex). The plot is good here. The humor is not always the best, but the game tries to amuse you, and there was a moment with a hare in the forest when I laughed for a very long time. Characters - the authors have finally begun to reveal them. Yes, it doesn’t happen as fast as we would like. The characters here are gorgeous, both drawn and their characters.
Of the minuses, I can note that there is no sound in the game. But it seems like the authors promise to make it in the next updates.

At this stage of development, I put it 5 out of 5. I will follow the development of the project further. I hope it will grow into a full-fledged good game that you will want to go through more than once.

Great game, great art and surprisingly good writing. The protagonist is an actual character which is surprising for these types of games and the writing for other characters is pretty well done, it's rare for me to actually become invested in the story of one of these games. As of version .3 there isn't a ton of content, but there's enough and what's there is very well made. Look forward to seeing how it turns out in the future.

Art is too good. And that's exactly what I mean. It's scary to imagine how much effort takes to made it. I afraid that author will drop it.
Characters are fine. Geenger nun - best girl
Card game need some fixes. If fight is over before you shuffle your deck, in next fight cards will draw in the exact same order. Self casted spells like armor should auto target hero without pointing him. Faster animations wold be good too, but i dont know if it possible on this game engine.
Very promising project overall.

Pros:

1- Probably the most striking aspect of this work is its hand-drawn characters and locales, each character has its own uniqueness to it, which is quite impressive on its own right.

Cons:

1- Unfortunately the Story is not at the same level as the artwork and the jokes are very hit or miss. Heroines (including main ones) are mostly composed of sloppy seconds syndrome as well if that's your cup of tea.
2- Animations are not entirely up to par and could basically be compared to still loops in GIF format you could find on banners of an average porn website.
3- MC likes more helping people getting laid then doing the deed himself, he certainly would be the best wingman you could possibly ask for, but if you look at the banner and the synopsis it certainly feels like a bait and switch.
4- Scale of the World is in fact quite small and empty.
5- A little bit grindy.

Game shows incredible amounts of promise. Beautiful CGs and characters. Interesting world and story. gameplay is interesting enough. Animations could use improvement, but the Dev is looking to upgrade them next so nbd.

The Good:
Knightly Passions shows some beautifully hand drawn and quite interesting locales. During dialogue, the characters are charming and their designs are very unique.

The Bad:
The sex scenes are uninspired and badly animated, comparable to the GIF banners you could find on the porn sites of old - 2 images going back and forth on a loop.
The world feels empty, the exploration is way too limited by the forced, linear plot, the jokes aren't funny, the grammar is hit-and-miss, nothing about the game has any lasting charming quality...

TL;DR:
Unique, but badly-animated character designs thrown around on a "click around for the next plot point" adventure that lacks any sexiness. But it is pretty.

Good Points
+Story seems interesting and funny.
+Renders/drawings have their own style and they are looking good even some of them looks pretty beautiful.

Bad Points
-Animations loots lots of work... Renders and animations looks pretty different, animation quality is looks worse than renders and we are feeling this while changing between renders to animations lot. Their FPS is not bad but their quality needs lots of work.
-Sex scenes needs lots of work aswell. We need more angles/positions in sex scenes with better positioned angles of course! Right now sex scenes dont look good enough for getting off. Well they are sex scenes but not good enough to conpare with renders.
-Walkthrough could be usefull. Lots of quest are easy but some of them is little bit hard maybe some in game tips should be enough to.

For The End
Well its good visual novel but i cant say its good game or good adult game at all. Gameplay is grindy and boring. Sex scenes dont have more than one angle/position and thet dont look that much good for losing some stream. Game itself feels like have more potencial than this but looks like DEV cant manage to show us that potencial. Long story short: we need more action, more sex scenes with better and more angles/positions and more interesting story. We are still in early build of game so i gues its still possible to change some things and make this game better but i dont know DEV will make theese changes or he thinks average game quality enough? I hope he will consider doing theese changes and make this game better.

Version 2C Comments based on a very early build

Just an excellent start to what looks like a well-designed game which has continued to improve with each update. Art is crisp, original and sexy, particularly during the lewd bits. Animations are fairly simple but they get the job done.The tags originally included harem I believe, but there was some drama early on regarding what some thought was ntr which prompted a revision of an early scene, so tags reflect more of what is currently in content. Current content includes voyeur (dildo masturbation and an eyebleach scene with a carpet), bj, fingering, and a complete menu of sexual activities with one of the girls over a series of wine-fueled encounters.

Gameplay is uncomplicated and flows easily. UI is easy to use. Combat is fairly simple but looks to be easily scaleable for harder fights in the future. In-game quest guide works well but does not include some of the extra content so a walkthrough for those parts, or use of the F95 search function would be helpful. From what I’ve seen so far (although stats reading is not available so it’s a bit of a shot in the dark based on character reaction), you probably want to be nice and as helpful as you can be. 9 female characters so far including witch, “nuns”, monster, maid, shopkeeper, slave, and sister; and I’d be interested in romancing all of them (incest patch when the time comes please). There is a bit of a money grind (hunting in forest once it's unlocked by advancing main quest), and you'll need money for upgrading equipment to hunt and to fight first monster. You'll also need it for bribes, wine, and quest items so watch your starting funds until you can hunt.

As for the MC, he’s not a douche and may be a hero by the end of the day, so he’s actually fun to play. The currently short backstories for female characters are interesting and look to be easily expandable as the story (and hopefully romance) develops.

I'd recommend saving at decision points for the moment as rollback didn't seem to be working and the most obvious choice doesn't necessarily lead to lewds (never believe a nun). Creator is active on F95 and as mentioned earlier is quite responsive to audience reaction.

TLdr: Download, play and support if you’re a fan of sexy 2D fantasy.

The best promising game of this kind I have ever played

- Pro:
-the designe of female characters is excellent
- it is not grindy at all
- conversations are smooth and fun to read
- meaningful choices
- decent amount of scenes

-game is clear about what it wants you to do, you dont waste any time wandering what should you do or how to do it

- Con:
- short
-unfinished
-more scenes would do

It gives vibes of "Seeds of chaos" but you're not anybody's underling.The art is much more colorful, smooth and it has animations, it has interesting characters (sadly nobody has actual names) and how they interact with the player and between each other is interesting.I really like the combat system - for now it's simple, but it has clean animations and the cards look well made. Armwrestling with the Old man can become a bit challenging if you don't beat him in the first 5 seconds. In version 0.2c of Knightly Passions which I played and finished there are only 3 monsters to hunt and there are few things that need to be fixed(like the vendors) but for such an early version of the game it's normal.I don't personally know the developers but from their work on this game it looks like they are taking developing it seriously(not just a passion project of a newbie like most of the games here are) I can say that if it continues to develop in the same way it goes so far, it will be a truly amazing game with plenty to do!

Pretty good game

- Short conversations and not much text
- Meaningful choices (and you are warned about choices that matter)
- Decent amount of scenes
- Good art
- Pretty straightforward what to do and how to solve quests, without running all over

- Con:
- A bit simple
- Short and unfinished
- Would be better with more scenes

I accidentally stumbled upon this game and did not regret it. Not a banal plot, interesting characters, nice drawing, pretty interesting mechanics. The good news is that already in 0.1 version of the content is enough for the player to be drawn into this world of the Middle Ages and fantasy.

I want to emphasize the nuns - they are cool guys, I look forward to continuing with them.

There are cons in this game. But if you look at the fact that this is only 0.1 version, then you can close your eyes to them.

I have not seen a single bug. If the game crashed due to an error, it would ruin my first impression of the game. Fortunately, everything works smoothly, interestingly and beautifully. This game has a future. I look forward to the release of new versions.

Absolutely loved everything this game had to offer.
Dialogue was fun, believeable, and funny when it tried to be.
I appreciated every plotpoint and I hope there will be more, and the world will expand.

Now for the art.
Oh dear, the art. Wonderful, original, plays perfectly into its setting, alongside being sexy as all heck. Might just be my new favourite.

So in short, 10/10, I'll be awaiting and reviewing future updates.

The game is still great, revisions felt natural even though I was not bothered too much by the reasons that created the need for them, writing, designs, scenes and coding are amazing and impressive.

Character design and map interface seem to be going into a good direction, which I can appreciate.

Honestly more of the same, I just wanted to clairy again I'm happy and immensly satisfied with every and each update out. The game itself is good enough, without even the scenes. The scenes themselves are *chef's kiss* though.

The only slight nitpick I would have is that the battle system could be a tad faster to feel more satisfying.
