BTW my game was a complete mess a few hours ago crashing at freeH , and at loading map, and now it work fine with the R1.1 update

is it better than AA2?

Not even close. I have been playing for around 4 hours with no bugs and it lacks a lot of things that AA2 did well. There are no real interactions between the NPCs, when you go Hmode with a character everyone in the area disappears, and once the event ends they reappear and run away (contrary to AA2 where they could interact with you, either looking or stopping you).

There are no consequences of dating multiple NPCs, and even if you did something with one in front of the other, they really do nothing.

The different personalities mean little as you can spam any talk and it will gradually work towards the attractions %. No matter what I try, I can’t make the attraction % decrease, so no real challenge.

Until now no NPC has initiated an interaction with the MC, the closest one is one that confessed, but I had to already be talking with it to happen.

Now about looks, the improvements are negligible, while the clipping of clothes is still there. If it was on a custom character with custom clothing I would give it a pass, but having clipping issues with a premade character with the clothing that was chosen by the developers, that is a horrible level of Quality.

Hell, the Mc doesnt even have fluid movements with the arrow keys, it just jumps from one direction to the other as if skiping frames.

I can’t believe that Illusion can’t make a game that has at the very least the same quality of interactions as AA2 yet (not really counting Shoujo Ai as it has a diferent kind of gameplay), a game from 2014.

In my opinion, while Koikatsu (as a game, not a studio) was mediocre, this is even worst considering the little improvements there are in it.

All this is just my opinion after playing most Illusion, and other similar company games.

OP Updated however I won't be replacing the 'All-In-One' links until R2 comes out which I feel like is best since that shit is time consuming considering this is basically the initial release and fixes and what not, are expected at this current moment

went through the full progression of romancing a character. so pretty much the new material seems to be finding topics either by gathering them on the island or talking to waifus on a random chance..to help raise relationships faster (better than just talking to them) once you fill the heart gauge to dark red with your waifu you can take her to spots throughout the island for little dates and a lot more spots for special h..havent done any threesomes yet but with all the spots you can take her there is probably a lot more dialogue in this game..but still it's just boring. havent reached any end game content like in the dlc from the last game with the whole marriage thing so im not sure if there is or not but in my eyes this game is just koikatu dlc..nothing special at all really it got boring pretty quickly

It is pretty much the same (which is bad or good depending on your opinion), I couldnt see anything substantially different in it, and, unless I am blind, couldnt even find a "character mixer" or even a randomizer like in HS or AA2.

So, if you just want a studio, maybe stick with KK, the new positions in game does not even have a complete animation, as grabbing any part of the NPC while in position makes the Mc invisible, and on the kiss interaction the NPC kisses the air while the MC just looks blankly into space, far from her face.

I had this little "bug", where the girls moves super fast in the map. When i tank to them its all back to normal though, onloy when i see them walking around or just standing, etc. They looked like they're moving at 2x o 3x speed. Any fix for that?

the locale fix is included in R1.1, so if you have that just follow those instructions

I release at the same time for everyone, patreon supporter or no, and don't wall anything I am involved with... hell, I explicitly state several places that it's fine to reshare my pack, just don't modify it or anything silly like that as that makes it harder for me to verify the integrity of the pack and the safety of its users.
