Is the content in repack also translated, or is it just what can be found in party ?
This has already been written about many times. In the description of the repack, everything is written in detail (you just need to read)
The party contains professional author translation. Everything that matches the party is included in the main game. This is exactly what means "- Koikatsu Party Translation" .
The author (Illusion) never did a translation for the main game. The translation was made only for separate build "Koikatsu Party!". Since the main plot and parts of the translation coincide with the main game, this translation was included in the main game by mod and repack developers.
The rest was not translated by the author of the game (Illusion).

Thus the translation consists of
1. Basic author's translation of the main plot
2. Amateur semi-professional translation
3. Online translation using google translator. (Therefore, if you play with the Internet turned off, part of the translation will not be available)
All available translation is included in the repack.

It's not that no one knows the answer. All possible root causes are spelled out in the instructions, wiki, and in this thread. It is your responsibility to read the instructions. Retell the solution, to everyone who asks a question is not an option.
Moreover, the questions are usually repeated, and the answer is the same - boring.
I wouldn't be asking around if I hadn't already exhausted my options. The wiki is incomplete and doesn't cover much as far as mods are concerned, nor did they have the answers for those particular questions. Looking up the questions in this thread via the search bar didn't yield anything, and it's unrealistic to expect someone to comb through 250 pages. I couldn't find the github page for several mods, some of them only had their documentation in Japanese, and none of them reported any conflicts with the mods I installed. The repack actually did include readmes for the ones that had known conflicts with each other.

At the very least, I did find a Discord server where I was able to get some more info. For the mods, I may have installed them incorrect, or encountered a rare conflict with the current version, so again, the best solution is to wait a bit for more updates and then do a clean install. I was too impatient before, and some stuff may have wound up in the wrong folders. I also might have ran out of RAM (I did notice my RAM was full, but assumed it was unintended and a concequence of the game freezing up rather than the other way around), which I need to upgrade, anyways, since I use a lot of digital art and 3D modeling tools. It's also possible that I installed a mod twice. All together, it looks like I'll have to wait a month or two to suss out the details, but it'll probably be solved though a clean installation, while more carefully installing these mods next time.

I also realized as I was typing this that this thread was specifically for the ScrewThisNoise repack, I figured everyone was starting with the same set of folders, so it didn't occur to me to specify the mods I installed that were causing the issues. Kind of hard to troubleshoot if you don't have that kind of info:

  1. Boop 1.0
  2. Custom Intro Voices v7
  3. FashionSense v2.1
  4. FloorCollider v0.1
  5. HeadUtl v0.2.1
  6. KK_ANIMATIONOVERDRIVE v1.0
  7. KK_Archetypes v1.1
  8. KK_Colliders v1.0
  9. KK_CrossEye v1.6
  10. KK_ExperienceLogic v1.0
  11. KK_ForceHighPoly v1.2
  12. KK_GamepadSupport v1.0.1
  13. KK_Kiyase v1.0
  14. KK_NightDarkener v1.1.1
  15. KK_OrthographicCamera v1.1
  16. KK_StudioAllGirlsPlugin v1.3.2
  17. KK_SubCam2 v0.1
  18. KKPE v1.2.0
  19. Koikatu Gameplay Mod v1.4.2
  20. kPlug v2.1
  21. Pushup plugin Beta
  22. RimRemover v1.0.1
  23. Stilleto v1.2a3
  24. VideoExport v1.1.0
A lot of these were installed to assist in scene creation, while the rest seemed inoffensive enough, though I'd probably skip Boop, FloorCollider, KK_NightDarkener, the AllGirls plugin, and the experience logic mods going forward, as those weren't conducive to what I'm working on. Both camera mods had their own issues, so I'm definitely not installing those again.

Also, I'm more used to AA2, and I didn't realize that customizable card backrounds had been a staple for a while now, so I assumed they were editted screenshots like you could do in AA2 with certain utilities. But no, all the cards I was seeing were just using in-game settings. Whoops.

If you want to continue using kplug, you have to get rid of some of the mods because they contradict with the kplug. There is a manual that kplug came with that should tell you which mods don't work with it.

Where can you get a better translation pack for it than what is already put in or is that even possible?
Better Repack comes with the best possible translation. The problem is that the best possible translation is a real time translation through an online server with some dialogue being hand translated by the people over at the Discord, or at least the Discord was where I was directed to help translate H subtitles from very broken English. The only exception to this is the main game, which is any dialogue when you are talking to a girl in school or story events. Dating dialogue after the first date, the H subtitles, and any functions or characters added by DLC are still reliant on the server.

kplug 2.12 is another master stroke with the mouse set-up the Yuri option is much smoother. I am not sure if this is a factor but now all female students perform Yuri with this command even if they don't like the girls option. I almost fell off my chair with laughter when the homeroom teacher went down on a student.
Seriously? I'm going to have to check it out, though I'll probably wait until next BR version to get a clean install going unless I can figure out what to add fron the 2.12 folder and what not to add.

Is the content in repack also translated, or is it just what can be found in party ?
The repack contains the full Illusion translation, which means anything not in the DLCs or specific to a mod. The wake up dialogue when you wake up alone is translated by an online server, the DLCs and characters added by them are translated by an online server, and the mods, the only one I can think of being the subtitles mod, use an online server. This is why you see the text first appear in Japanese in those cases. Party is literally just the Steam approved release of the game for western players and does NOT include the DLCs, any characters from those DLCs, or, apparently, the wake up dialogue for waking up alone. Party itself also does not include any dialogue related to the location being a school or any R18 content without a special patch that can be found elsewhere. What you will find in the repack is not Party itself, but the translation ripped from it and applied to the original version of the game.

I didn't install the KPlug uncensor, so I figured none of those would be an issue, save for one mod that I uninstalled after your post...and while I was at it, I noticed I had put the KoikPlugins.dll in the wrong folder, which turned out to be the culprit! So thanks.

  1. kPlug v2.1
This game, without Kplug is absolute boring.
I'm mad at Illusion, that they dropped it after 3 DLC, and go to make Shojo AI. Let's be serious. Any anime fan at some point wanked to an anime/hentai character. Why dojinshi of popular anime/manga are drawn? Because there is a need for this! Deepfakes are here for couple of years, and amount of porn with popular actress dudes made and still making is ridicolous. Same for anime. Who did not wanked to Bulmas count when she flashed Roshi, or have a good time with Asuka tits in EoE, he don't know life;]
AA2 was in gameplay better IMO. The control was pains in the ass, and game did not offfer many kind of activity on map, but in terms of bulding relationship and love/hate system was very good.
And NPC's did make a relations with other NPC's so we can easly name AA2 an simulation game.
In KK you play only 1 chara, NPC's don't affect each others, you don't have an option to affect on a group of npc like LETS GO KARAOKE in AA2. But AA2, even with all the mods on net, did not have one thing. The Ability to create any character or a freaking monster in game. The guy above telling us there is 22k chara cards in AA2 illusion rip pack.
I know, i have this on my hdd. I scanned it for a duplicate, and in this 22k - 15k are simillar to each other in +60&.
It means there is a 22k variations of a 25 characters:p My userdata/chara folder have 2700 cards, and i don't hesistate to download another if card is awsome.
But to kplug.
If you spend ingame without kplug enough time to think to just drop the game - go kplug.
Jesus christ, playing "naked" KK it is like watching those china/korea erotic movies.
Playing KK with kplug is like watching crazy JAV porn productions - live;]

Damn...i only wanted to say, that i highly recommend you to go kplug!

Let's be serious here, Illusion only does what is in the best interest of their pockets. They finished what they could feasibly do while still making a profit. All the voice work they put into the main game and all the DLCs that did get done is extremely expensive and another content DLC would have meant more voice work, less profit, AND the threat that the game actually went into negative earnings because the amount they had to put into it to make a fourth DLC was more than it earned from the people legitimately buying the game, which is honestly not that many compared to mainstream games. These smaller devs already struggle to keep up with AAA devs as it is. There's also the issue that plagues many Patreon devs today, games becoming stale. Even with new content, this game will eventually lose people willing to legitimately buy it because the players will get bored. This is the point no dev wants to reach and development needs to be moved to a new project to keep interest so that point is never reached.

Isn't the same for any game company ?
Well, illusion it's very know to sell thaty game only for jap. Honey select and Koikatu are the only game that sell oversea.
Fakku sell honey select for 60$ for the base game and for other 60$ you can get the dlc....

I see that Kplug added some things, but are people using this most with it? I read the guide and everything, but honestly it's a lot to take in. Just looking for a good starting point to get good usage out of it.

Also, is there any way to disable that creepy smile that the girls get in "Horny" state? It seriously disturbs me.

Don't have ahegao, I just remember someone mentioning a way to get rid of the perfect "U" smiles after they are in lewd/horney experience state.

KPlug murders my FPS. Goes from 60 to 24 in the character maker. Anyone know why?

Does anyone know an easy way to copy outfits to an entire class? I used to be able to do it in AA2 but I don't know how to do it here.

By the way, can anyone else confirm that it's not possible to access the servers to download new characters right now ?
