For example the different of HS to PH, both game use a different engine version and both use a different shader, even if they use the same body type.
In HS case, the game a use standard shader, isn't bad as shader but isn't very good if you need set a batter quality other hand PH use Alloy Physical Shader Framework and the quality of the shader are much better that standard shader.
Not to mention some assets want a minimal version of use.
For example, there are various edited shaders that are not compatible with the version used by honey select 5.3.5, but can be used by higher versions.
