This is not one of the games here that was made with AI art, Honey Select or Koikatu and the art is top tier amongst the hand-drawn ones here.
For instance, My Pig Princess which is probably the peak in art style takes at least 5-6 months to update, with each update being 30-45 minutes in content.
So, my advice is too probably come back after 3-4 updates and not follow it too close unless you will just be disappointed.

You need to download the first method file from "Extras" first, then move both downloaded files to the patreon_auth folder in your game folder, and enjoy the game.
I agree with you, maybe the dev wants to expand their game so it doesn't feel monotonous like most games. Perhaps they're being very careful about the game's quality, focusing on the story... so they can meet their customers' expectations?
