Where is the Game folder on Android?

Using any archive tool (7-Zip, etc.), open the APK file and navigate to:
HokagesAdoptedSon-0.4.apk\assets\x-game\

Delete the x-screens.rpyc file. Rename the file I shared to x-screens.rpy, then place it inside the x-game folder.

After that, reinstall it on your phone.

It doesn't matter what he does. He can hire the best programmer in the world, and it's still going to get cracked eventually. If people can hack their way into the Pentagon and share their classified information on Warhammer, I think Kim's Patreon shenanigans are nothing comparatively.
Maybe he should focus more on making the game more stable "programming-wise" instead of putting obstacles in place to prevent piracy. F95 is the biggest pond to fish for Patreon supporters. The only thing he will accomplish is making people despise him when there are developers here that understand this delicate ecosystem and try to navigate the F95 page as best they can to gather more support.

He obviously understands and respects the benefits that f95 can bring to him and he still posts the free version for everyone, we just need to wait about a month.

So if we don't support him materially, we should support him spiritually so that this game can continue to develop in the long term.

Or we can just keep quiet and enjoy the game, don't criticize him unreasonably.

Finally, if you are an antifan and want to ruin this game, I really despise you.

Personally, I don't despise him at all, quite the opposite. I really like his artwork. People can like or dislike his stories all they want based on their personal tastes, and that's fine. After all, it's his personal spin on the story and he can do with it what ever he wants.
The copyright issue is murky at best. I don't know how legal it is, but I'm pretty sure the owners know about all the fan art hentai and treat it as free advertisement. After all, 1 in 4 searches on Google is about porn.
And I agree that giving the game out for free after a month is a very good move. We will see how long it lasts.
The Patreon authentication though, is a "dick move." I don't know any other game that has it. And they all seem to be doing just fine without it. Those that can financially support this or any other game they like have always done so despite the leaks.
Time will tell where all this is heading. I hope he has great success despite what people say about the stories of his comics and now his game.

Personally, I don't play games on mobile, but the system basically works the same. As long as your archiving programs don’t alter any files or change the SHA (key) check, there shouldn’t be an issue installing the game after opening the .apk file. I recommend using 7-Zip for this, .apk files are essentially archive formats like .rar or .zip.

As an alternative method mentioned earlier, you can delete the Patreon folder and reinstall the game. However, as I said before, this may carry over bugs or errors.

Did you delete the screens.rpyc file? You need to delete it, then launch the game with my file again so the game can regenerate a fresh screens.rpyc.

Not sure if it is the patch, but this game bugs out constantly. Unrelated UI elements of background maps pop up constantly during a scene, craps out to the main menu at times for unknown reasons.
