I have the same problem, that the game freezes when I talk to the blacksmith. How much content do I miss with this? Can there please be a hotfix very soon?

if their is a blacksmit, it usaly is critical to clear the game.
sinds this does look to draw some inperation from bloodborne, i'd say, you'll run into a headbanger without the blacksmit.
wait for hotfix, is what i would sugjest, how long that will be.

yes there is a double jump (its an item you get in the swamp area) and you can't currently fix the steam room as you need to talk to the blacksmith which currently softlocks the game

Just use the breast pump. Once you get the bottle of milk, go to him (I don’t remember his name, he’s in the tower). Give the bottle to the one who gave you the breast pump. After that, he will remove the bra tentacles.

In the current version (0.23) this is a bug, you can’t talk to her. But it’s not required to progress, so you won’t get stuck in the game. However, it’s important that she fixes the lantern, and because of the bug you can’t get a working one. Let’s wait until the developer fixes it in the next version.

Thanks, somehow I couldn't climb that cart before, but now I managed to do it.
Sadly now I'm stuck in that base (where the blacksmith is) because I can't get past any door without my game suddenly stop responding
