All of the models are chopped up as paper dolls and stored. I think the original labrats used Honey Select or something similar.
I assume it would be "possible" to replace all the current models with Koikatsu or Honey Select or whatever, but you'd need someone to go through the effort of rendering all of them.
Someone is currently trying to update all the Daz models and it's a very VERY slow process.
So the answer to your question is probably yes, but it would take a lot of volunteer work.
Its basically a sandbox game so tips are largely dependant on what you actually want to do... so what you wanna do lol.
The sex scenes are all done in pieces. Doggy, the smallest folder, has 4868 pieces. You'd either have to replace all that, for all different folders, or just completely revamp that system. So yeah, I think no matter how its done, it'd be a massive revamp.
Woah that explains the complexity of adding new sex poses in the game which is a shame tbh.But i guess only the patient will enjoy a new sex pose or so in the future.
I like this game but slowly it's killing me how you can not transfer your save files. I started like 8 times already and I think I will just wait for final version if some ever will be because not to be able to transfer your progress in 2024 is really game killing thing.
Got it. I feel like the tutorials of "this is what the buttons do" are pretty clear for an advanced Ren'Py, but as to the order of building things (do I focus on research serums first? or focus on getting steady revenue? character stats?) is a lot to keep track of. Granted I could choose anything, but I'd rather not focus on something so much I can't recover or miss out on stuff. Thanks for clarifying though!

Research once to get it ... then research again for 0%. There's only a few annoying ones that still whittle away at 1-2% with this so you have to repeat 3 or 4 times. [For Nora's initial quests this means just research it once and report back to her without doing anything meaningful with her serum]
Much better than the autoclick.
Only downside is when employees want you to teach them and they go from 5 research_skill to 10000 research_skill and start sucking your money dry. (the_person.research_skill=8) can't afford them employees to be too smart.
Aside from that I cheat the Nora Reasearch Surveys once she starts asking for them (from post in orig game forum)

I can't seem to get mods working with mac? Literally the same folder structure as the win version and I've used the source files in the mac download here.
damn, I've got to get my ass in gear and buy a newer pc... all these old renpy games getting better and my old win7 potato just can't handle it lol. Thanks to the modders though - nice to see somebody wants this game to get better before the heat death of the universe

Honestly I'd love to see more done with the sex scenes in general. I've felt that we've needed the ability to turn control over to the girls for a long time now, I'm surprised it's still not a thing. It makes getting certain positions a lot harder since not only do the girls have to initiate them you also have to get them to take the lead in the first place.
I've also wanted to see more variety in the sex scene descriptions. We've had the same set of descriptions for a while, and in a sex game that is largely dependent on flavor text more variety seems like a must-have. I've read all of the flavor text so many times at this point that I just find myself clicking hastily through the sex scenes, which really defeats the purpose of the game really.
I'd also like to see more dialogue variety, especially more unique dialogue for the preset characters that aren't said by any other women.
Basically, I want more variety in the sex scenes. They've been stagnant for a long time, and while I'm very impressed with all the improvements the modders have made for the game I'm still hoping to see the sex scenes get some major TLC.
How do I even start interacting with the Police Officer? I have been arrested several times now because of Public sex and she is still nameless and cant interact with her on any level to even begin corrupting
You should be able to find her wandering the town, unless that's changed in the newest version. She'll just be ??? until you introduce yourself but she used to have a STAR by her name.
Nevermind, I figured it out. You just have be arrested in the afternoon I guess. Then you can interact with police officer as normal
